... Anyone who knows anything knows that women test better as army pilots than men especially in precision of landing. All that tells us is that women should occupy the air force. Should women sit in the back of the bus if they have to make a walk of shame from the front to the back? No. But most passengers would prefer to enter the back door and flash their monthly pass to the driver and take an empty seat. Should women be given that exclusive right? I don't have the answer, but as a woman it wouldn't bother me, however as a citizen I would be afraid of discrimination being directed against me in other areas. Does the women's position in the air force demand that women should form singing units in the military? Absolutely not, it is the epitome of misogyny and segregation. (I don't support male singing units nor mixed singing units in the military either.) Five of fourteen graduates are women? Is that due to lack of requests to serve in the air force or is it just sexism as usual? I'll leave that question for the PM and his Chief of Staff to answer.

The real issue is their obstinacy to the State of Israel. They don't recognize the state and its rules. They want their rabbis to empower them somehow to disobey the elected representatives of the state, disobey the judges, police, IDF, what not. Women are pushed to the back of the bus as a token of the Haredi fight against the state of Israel. Little girls are spat upon for the same reason. As I wrote previously, the solution needs to come in the form of a Constitution, a clear and simple one. Something like: "we are all equal, we all serve the same state in the same way." If a Haredi will refuse to pledge allegiance to Israeli constitution, he/she should be kicked out of the country, the same as anyone else.

Women are better fighter pilots in certain instances, because they generally can handle more G-Forces than men. And some Orthodox don't 'exclude' women. It about 'protecting' women. Although I am sure these girls only interest is in flying and fighting for their country, they are doing a huge service for womens rights, far more than a dolly bird singing to entertain the menfolk. Kol ha'kavod to these girls. It's a tough course. PG they will prove themselves worthy in combat and PG there should be less combat for all of us.
