When other young people in the world enjoy themselves, the youngsters of Israel join the IDF to defend their country and its people, facing a savage enemy. They are entitled to a few moments of fun, they deserve it!

Dayana Dewing ,   Rio de Janeiro, Bras   (01.02.12)
Please, no more wars. We are all the same species, let's look to evolve as a species and better manage the entire planet. Hatred begets more hatred, while love and forgiveness, generate kindness, unity and peace. We are all just humans, like you :)

52. Stop war and go back to school
Adilson Assis ,   Uberlandia, Brazil   (01.02.12)
Hello jornalist, use google to easily find that Michel Telo is as close to samba as Michael Jackson is to Beethoven!!! ;) Brazil is not only samba, go beyond the stereotypes!
53. Samba???
Fabiano ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (01.02.12)
Samba? Really? This writer should first do some research before typing anything. Just because it's brazilian music, it doesn't mean it's samba. FYI, it's sertanejo, a brazilian version of country music. Go get another degree. :)
54. Soldiers dancing
Rachel   (01.02.12)

do people read posts before they post one, majority of the posts are from brazilians telling us this isn't samba.....it's ok! don't get upset! we get it! this is not samba! lol but for what it's worth, brazil has an amazing culture, and amazing music, and we love it, even if we can't get the names right.
56. Forro - not Samba
(01.02.12)
Forro - comes from the distortion of - "For All", a dance that started in the 2nd world war, when american troops were present in NE Brazilian ports and airports. An easy dance that every one could dance, even Americans, hence For All. this is a modern version of the rhythm, a bit far away from its origin, but still, even Israeli soldiers manage to almost keep the beat.
57. LOVE IT!!!!
yael ,   israel   (01.02.12)
As a soldier's mom i love it. These guys giver their all to the army & the country, after all they should be allowed a few moments of fun & foolishness. That's what being young is all about. The army has no sense of humor. A little fun is required to breask up all the gravitas. GO Army!!!! Dance - Sing - Love lIfe!
58. Forro
Wander ,   Brasil   (01.02.12)
Very funny, but is not "samba", this music style is a "Forro" (or "For All").
59. dancing soldiers
Sarah ,   UK   (01.02.12)
No girls to dance with!? Keep the girls in the IDF WITH the boys!! ;)
60. Great stress buster!
G Fishe ,   Norfolk, England   (01.02.12)
What a great way to get rid of the obvious stress of their job, which they do brilliantly. If you watch closely most of the time they also had every direction covered. I'd rather a less stressed soldier defend me than an up tight one who may just freeze at the critical moment! Well done soldiers and keep up the good work. We are proud of you.
