2. Erdogan
Standing Tall ,   USA/Canada   (01.01.12)
Worrying about the jewification of Jerusalem is stupid. The Jews were there long before the Muslims or the Christians. For the sake of the truth, they should be happy Israel has control of it. At least Israel allows the other religions there. Erdogan can kiss my posterior.

11. Erdogan says talks with Hamas a must
Syd Chaden ,   Palermo Calif USA   (01.02.12)
Of course, Erdogan is an expert on peacemaking. He has been applying his version of peace to the Kurds for years, killing those in his own country and in Iraq. There are Kurds in Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria who want their own country, and who have a far more valid claim than the Palestinians. Perhaps Israel should recognize them, and sponsor peace talksbetween the Kurds and Turkey.
12. These two should stop disguising >>
HaifaGuy   (01.02.12)
their relationship under false political premises and just come out of the proverbial closet. They actually look pretty good together) How'bout we all chip in and send them to Spain or smthg where they can live together happily ever after as a lawfully wedded couple? How much longer must they live in sin???? Give love a chance! I mean, just look at their butt-ugly wives - it's all chrystal-clear now. These two belong together. They deserve a long and passionate Haniyeh-moon!!!!!!!!

16. What would Erdogan think if someone would say ....
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (01.02.12)
What would Erdogan think if someone would say - No peace between Turks and Kurds without PKK and Abdullah Ocalan - ? Erdogan must learn that Silence is Golden.
17. Turkey's Moral Posturing
Mike ,   new york   (01.02.12)
Israel should convene a conference on the issue of Kurdish people's rights to self-determination and independence and should invite experts on the Kurdish issue as well as Kurdish leaders who are advocates for this cause, (although only those who have not been tainted by terrorism). In addition to this, Israel should also recognize the Armenian genocide and help raise awareness of this tragic event. Jewish groups in America should also promote the Kurdish as well as the Armenian issues.

24. AGAIN ERDOGAN ON THE FRONT PAGE !
Mark ,   T.a. Israel   (01.02.12)
This ErDOG never misses any oppurtinity to proclaim his VICIOUS ANTISEMITE FEELING ! He should first take under government protection the old historical SYNAGOGUES which are transformed in taxi station or warehouses under the pretext that there is no Jewish population to attend the services ! To circumvent this LAW every week the Jews of Istanbul go to pray to different old synagogues forming a Minyan !
25. And according to Hamas...

BUTSeriosly   (01.02.12)
27. when it rains there ,it pours .
JOE ,   USA   (01.02.12)
Erdogan has more problems than he could ever deal with . cutoff of all relations with FRANCE, problems with ISRAEL , ARMENIA is not happy with his meager and failed overtures . intensifying problems with both CYPRUS ,and consequently GREECE . the EU does NOT want him and his muslim regime to join it. he has failed to do anything so far about controlling the kurdish rebellion . and now to top it off ,he's probably croaking from cancer . erdoghan the turk is going down .thank ALLAH .AND ,before i forget, his embassador ti ISRAEL had to SIT ON A LOW CHAIR. when convening with ISRAELI officials, and he had to WEAR A BIB TOO ,and had a baby sucking rubber THINGY IN HIS MOUTH .to be honest with you ,and to tell you the truth .
28. And Turkey Blames Israel for the falling ties.
Aharon   (01.02.12)
Turkey is no longer the trusted western ally it once was. In that hands of Erdogan, Turkey has aligned itself with the worst in the middle east and has become just another terror-supporting Muslim country.
29. Haniyeh is being legitimized through and through.
David Firester ,   New York, USA   (01.02.12)
In granting Hamas an audience in Turkey, the terror organization is gaining legitimacy as a "peace" partner. This is troubling on many levels. First, the Turks have been playing both sides with Europe and the Middle East. Although this may be in line with their bi-continental geographical reality, they run the risk of identifying with a murderous ally. Secondly, this process of allowing Hamas to practice diplomacy erodes the institution of diplomacy itself. Thirdly, a disturbing Hezbollization trend in the Near East is carried further. As terror organizations gain political strength through the election process, they become a part of the legitimate governing institutions. Consequently, requiring Hamas to be a partner in the peace process is akin to administering a lifesaving medical treatment with a poison-tipped device. Erdogan should consider what the ill effects of his hegemonic pursuits might inadvertently produce in the region.
30. Correct me if I am wrong
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (01.02.12)
I seem to recall that Hamas has said repeatedly that it would never sit down to talk peace with Israel, since it doesn't recognize Israel
