1. Denis, we are not sheep
Nour ,   One State   (01.07.12)
This is OUR land we do not need your lobbying to give us access to our own lands! Why dont you try persuading the other side to obey internatioonal law and to evacuate all the settlements, which sit on private agricultural lands!? Spare us the charitable stance and quit our lands.
2. Netanyahu Repeatedly Stated has NO desire to rule PA Muslims
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (01.07.12)
PM Netanyahu, you may not desire to rule PA Muslims, but THEY want to rule YOU and rule ALL NON-MUSLIMS. Why do you ignore what is in the Koran? The Koran says that jihad is an obligation for every Muslim and commands Muslims to conquer ALL nations and ALL peoples and subjugate non-Muslims under excessively cruel Islamic sharia law where defenseless non-Muslims have NO human rights.
3. Giving PA more control of Area C is one of the Steps to
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (01.07.12)
Muslim conquest of ALL Israel. Everyone knows that Muslim conquest and destruction of ALL Israel and its replacement with an Islamic state is the goal.
4. Area C
Max ,   Washington DC   (01.07.12)
Following the unilateral Dennis Ross Paln why not allow the Palestinians to develop and patrol Jerusalem including the Temple Mount? So far the PA and Hamas continue their hatred, and attempts to destroy Israel and have not shown they are partners for Peace living as neighbors to the Jewish State of Israel. Area B is all they deserve until they change what they teach their children!
5. Hmm.
Jonathan ,   MN/US   (01.07.12)
"According to his article in the Washington Post, Ross believes that such a move would improve the Palestinian economy and may even prevent Hamas from winning the Palestinian elections, expected to be held later in 2012." hes got a point. and despite what all of you might think from my pro-palestinian comments I AM NOT A SUPPORTER OF HAMAS!
6. Dennis Ross is,.....
Gideon Reader   (01.07.12)
...chronic rash on the private areas of Israel's body. Has this wooly headed punk ever been close to being correct in his judgements? Knockout: OSLO. Does anything more need to be said? Howzabout this? Open all areas to Jewish expansion with the instanter annexation of all of Judea-Samaria, the Golan and everything from the Jordan to the Med. But wait...there's more (as they say in the crappy TV commercials). Offer the alleged Palestinians the monoply of an entire industry. Silica Compression. What? israel's polititurds do not have the nerve to make such a generous offer? I'll do it for them. Hey abu,...Silica Compression. All you have to do is ,.....pound sand.
7. annex B and C
joe sombrero ,   usa   (01.07.12)
Ares is israel but PA
8. ross has done enough
alexi   (01.07.12)
ross tried hisbest with good motive except that the beilin foundation on which barak and the US worked is rotten to the core. C Glick exposed clearly that land for peace is unworkable because arabs cannot ever adhere to peace only truces or interim arrangements. A note to the eyptian brotherhood. You mess with the peace with israel and trouble will hit you as much as israel and next time sinai will be lost permanently. And don't go looking for concessions from barak because you will get none.
9. #4. They do control the Temple Mount. Israel only controlled
Henry from New York ,   USA   (01.07.12)
it for two weeks in '67.
10. This is the LAST thing Israel should do
No way ,   Israel   (01.07.12)
we should be getting rid of Arabs (paying them off and encouraging them to leave), NOT helping them expand and establish - ultimately our efforts and money doing that will lead to our destruction. NO Arab state next to Israel is best for Israel.
11. Regardless of who "win" next election....
to #5 ,   Israel   (01.07.12)
PA will ultimately hand over control to Hamas and Islamic Jihad to finish off Israel. That's the plan from day 1. Get an education.
12. Dennis Ross
Rozie   (01.08.12)
is the man that has given BAD advice to all the leaders including Obama. he is responsible for many of the problems that exist today. he should just keep quiet!!!!!
13. about 1
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (01.07.12)
The "genious" of nour is a reflection on the everlasting dream state and denial of her and her people...Dennis Ross should know better, then trying to compomise Israel's security once again...Shame on Ross for conveniently forgetting historical facts about the Israeli-pali relations and the many attempts Israel tried to negotiate peace and land with them...They were never a nation, but refugees from neighboring Arab countries..Started as refugees during the war of Yom Kipur in 1973 in Gaza and grew into what they are today, 4 decades later...And we, Israelis are mostly responsible for their nationhood claims...And that is the painful truth...
14. # 1
Birdi ,   Israel   (01.07.12)
Nour from la la land, listen up, never was your land, is not your land & will never be your land.
15. There is NO "peace process", there is only
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (01.07.12)
the constant Arab threat to destroy the Jewish state...so WHAT are you talking about Mr.Talkinghead ???
16. Area C only contains about 1% of the Palestinian population
Andi ,   Israel   (01.08.12)
only, and therefore Ross's suggestion would be unlikely to have any significant effect on the PA economy. Israel has already removed nearly all the road blocks within the West Bank which is was said justifiably was the most significant factor in restricting free movement and commerce.
17.  it may prompt Fatah's win over Hamas in next Palestinian el
Mark ,   USA   (01.08.12)
Don't you just love all of the helpful suggestions and pressure that the American diplomats put on Israel? But never on the arabs. Every gesture by Israel has been met with hostility and death from the arabs. And now, Denn, what will you say when Egypt remilitarizes the Sinai?? What Denn? Nothing? Denn-SHUT YOUR TRAP.
18. ROSS...ONLY in this for what he ca make out of it...
ali ,   villanova-usa   (01.08.12)
Just look at this guy in the Picture with Mr. Barak..it seems like he is being complemented on a mission he just finished...ON DEALINGS with ARAFAT or the PA.. The PA is LOADED with crooks and Denis had all of them very much in his pocket.. The Palestinians can do way better dealing DIRECTLY with Israelis than get involved with this SNAKE..
19. Dennis Ross believes
Marcel Sarfati ,   NYC NY   (01.08.12)
Top political adviser Dennis Ross believes that Obama should take steps to improve Hezbollah economic status in the US
20. Jordan should open Area J to Israel. [end]
ButSeriously ,   Sydney   (01.08.12)
21. Why on earth would Israel care ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.08.12)
.... about the outcome of elections in the West Bank (assuming they ever have them again)? There is no difference between Fatah and Hamas. Israel will annex Judea and Samaria, and its Arab residents will promptly be repatriated to Jordan, country of their citizenship. Or, if they wish, they can go to Gaza. Neither am I the least bit interested in seeing Israel pick up the economic slack for the terrorist rabble in Area C. If the ersatz "Palestinian" leadership would stop pilfering the funds intended to improve the economic situation of ersatz "Palestinians" in the West Bank, the economic situation would improve greatly. They wanted autonomy and they got it. The fact that they could not do anything positive with it is proof positive that they can never actually grow and govern a country. It doesn't matter. They are not our problem any more, and I could care less about their dire economic straits. Put the blame where it lies -- which is decidedly not Israel. Israel's money can be better spent elsewhere. Perhaps Mr. Ross should convince Erekat and Abbas to sell their private Gulfstream jets.
22. To: No. 1
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.08.12)
Please show me your deed of ownership on non-sovereign land. I'm sure you have a rusty old key -- that proves nothing. I would like to see the deed, which I know does not exist.
23. #1 You are sheep, your leaders have
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (01.08.12)
been leading you around by the nose for more than 60 years, promising you land that was never ever yours I gave you a series of questions to answer, you never did, sine you knew quite well that if you answered you would be hanging yourself with a rope that you created "It is important to note Palestine is not mentioned in the Bible or the Quran, at all. Why? Because it didn't exist until sometime during the Islamic Ottoman Empire which expanded their Islamic hegemony into that region. This empire collapsed and gave the outside world opportunities to right some wrongs. Israel, on the other hand, is mentioned in the Bible and the Quran. Their right to their land is also mentioned in both books. To ignore this is quite disrespectful.” http://ztruth.typepad.com/ztruth/ Your Llands, Your Capital City was? Who were your last Arab rulers? What Musueum holds any of your artifacts? We don't need Ross either, he helped in comming us to sign the worthless accords at Oslo
24. Henry - Dayan was a great General
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (01.08.12)
he was an utter fool in giving domain of the Temple Mount to the WAQF Israel should have retained the whole kit & kaboodle
25. Israel listened to Ross about Oslo
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (01.08.12)
Look at what a sorry mess that turned out to be. Arafat promsied to remove the clause from the PLO Charter, it's still there Dear Dennis, concern yourself with Unemployment in the USA, it is ever so much closer to home
26. #5 Jonathan U.S.
BEN JABO ,   ISR AEL   (01.08.12)
Ross also thought that Oslo would work, it hasn't Hamas doesn't control the area in question, that happens to be PA land
27. Ross is a pitchman for obumma, never listen to him.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (01.08.12)
28. So it is a war of Merchants, Mr.Ross? You stupid or sumtin'?
tom ,   tel aviv   (01.08.12)
29. Don't Listen To Him Bibi
Dan ,   USA   (01.08.12)
30. #24, it's been the case a few times that generals perform
Henry from New York ,   USA   (01.08.12)
poorly when they become politicians. For instance, Grant and umm... no, not Washington, he was good, not Andrew Jackson from what I've heard... and not Ike or MacArthur (when the latter ran the occupation government of Japan). So I guess Grant. Any other examples that could help provide a good excuse? I guess Dayan figured it would be a nice gesture of peace. As an archaeologist though I disapprove strongly of this act as it has resulted in the destruction of many precious artefacts that could have been found. Almost as bad, the stuff that survived, but was moved is out of context! (that's about 80% of the relevant info right there).
