2. Wake up Eyal, erodgan HATES the JEWS, LOVES iran, and you
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (01.16.12)
want to help him. Find a good wrench to get your head screwed on straight and help the Jews spend their money among FRIENDS not enemies.
3. I thought Israeli tourists where the worse !!!!
Bob ,   Ancona   (01.16.12)
and now , they are needed !! there so many nice places to visit prior Turquey.
4. I'm interesyed in a tourist package that includes a Turkish.
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (01.16.12)
..apology - you Turks need to get down on your knees apologizing to the Jewish people and the State of Israel, you need to dismantle your army, navy, air force, leave NATO, sever your ties with Iran, apologize for Ottoman imperialism of the past, fire and execute Erdogan, leave Cyprus - it belongs to the Greeks, get off our natural gas, stop sending troops into Iraq, apologize to the Kurds for your systematic pogroms on the Kurdish population, admit responsibility for the genocide on the Armenians. And finally: dear Turks, please commit national suicide and leave this planet alone and go either to central Asia where you came from originally or go to the moon. As a souvenir we can keep some Turkish delight when you are gone. By the way - you will be gone. Demographics favours the Kurds. And when the Kurds take over this political mistake and freak called Turkey, I'm gonna laugh my head of. That's the tourist package I'm interested in. If you can't arrange that, don't bother.
5. #4
Mert ,   Turkey   (01.16.12)
LOL! I'm gonna laugh when Turkey becomes a top 10 economy in a few decades. By the way most Kurds are assimilated to the Turkish society, but Palestinians are not and they have a higher birth rate than Kurds. What are you going to do when they want to overtake :)
6. The increasing arabization of the Turks
Bergkamp   (01.16.12)
They deny the right of Israel to self defense, therefore to survival, but they demand the jewish money. It´s like the arabs calling for the destruction of Israel in public and begging/praying for an Israeli strike against Iran in private. What a pity for a once proud and courageous nation like the Turks.
7. FAT CHANCE! Only Israeli Arabs go to Turkey!
(01.16.12)
And most of them do NOT spend much money there...
8. I usually spend my money where I am LIKED, not HATED!
(01.16.12)
9. Forget about politics - how about some Turkish Salad?
Martin ,   Brooklyn, USA   (01.16.12)
10. Turkey Vacation
Moisha Kapoir ,   Nanuet USA   (01.16.12)
I wouldn't vacation in Turkey even if they gave me Haifa Wahabi as a Perk.
11. Greece vs. Turkey
Hanna ,   Tel Aviv / London   (01.16.12)
Greece is 100x better - cleaner, healthier, the natives are less shifty and do not try to con you, food is tastier, less pollution, better kept archaeological sites, the hotels include more, you generally feel safer, and (oh yeah) the government is not Islamist lead that constantly enables your enemies. So, why should we even want to go to Turkey? Sleep in the bed you made, Turks.
12. turkey no more ; proud jew
dr daniel mostrel ,   paris france   (01.16.12)
no israelis and jews don't go back to turkey they are not friends they want just our money ; i will not go and will recommend not to go
13. terdogen
brcueben9 ,   milwaukie usa   (01.16.12)
i agree w/2. terdogen is a jew hater. jews should not spend their money in turkey now.
14. No turkey for norwegians
Beary White ,   Norway   (01.17.12)
Just political leftist people would ever think of turkey. General, normal citizen of Norway go elsewhere. The increasing islamification and alcohol-restrictions makes the country less interesting, thanks to mr erdogan who looooves Iran. Just 4% of people travelling abroad even thought of travelling to Turkey, while more than 15% would go to Greece. Besides, a lot of rape-stories in turkey (more than 10 pr year) does not make the country attractive for general norwegians.
15. #5 what are you smoking
Ari Gold   (01.17.12)
# 5, In Israel Arabs serve in the parliament, the Supreme Court and as captains in the army. Arabic is one of the official state languages. None of this exists for the Kurds in Turkey! You are typical arrogant, good for nothing, self righteous Turk whose head is completely detached from reality. I'd rather go to Greece than risk seeing your pathetic excuse of a human being.
16. i guess the arab hordes didn't come. boo-hoo.
ralph   (01.17.12)
17. #5, you got it all wrong. pal birthrate going down jewish up
ralph   (01.17.12)
top 10 economy? only in your wet dream buddy. you'll be lucky if you skirt a depression in 2012.
18. I just read "The Next 100 Years"
Elad Lending ,   Yahel, Israel   (01.17.12)
by George Friedman, a respected geo-political author. He thinks that Turkey, together with Japan and Poland, is going to be one of the strongest and most important countries in the next few decades. Maybe his forecast is wrong, but maybe it's not. It was better when Israel and Turkey were friends and allies. Still without a change in the Turkish leadership and a serious Turkish apology (together with a perfunctory Israeli one), it's hard to see the two countries resuming their former relationship
19. moon soon
viva israel ,   new turky   (01.17.12)
send them to you on the moon.
20. To nr 5 - What are you smoking?
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (01.17.12)
No "Palestinians" exist - they are Arab Moslem foreigners in our ancestral Jewish homeland. And they don't live inside the State of Israel's official borders - you should know that. But there is big chance that we will kick them out - once and for all and reclaim our ancient homeland. By the way: when will Turks move back to Central Asia? You are foreigners in the Middle East. Read your history - that is if you can read and if you are intellectually capable of handling the idea of s-p-e-a-k-i-n-g t-h-e t-r-u-t-h. It seems Moslems are allergic to speaking honestly and candidly - except when they express hatred for Jews. Kurds are "assimilated" in the Turkish culture? Hahaha! LOL! What are you smoking? In a few decades, Kurds will constitute 50% of Turkey's population. And your mutual animosity is still there. I hope the Kurds will crush the Turks once and for all. Bye bye Turkey... Turkey will become one of the top 10 economies? Really? How exactly is that going to happen? What are you going to sell? Oriental carpets or maybe Turkish delight?
21. Don't go to Turkey, let them invite Iranian tourists.
robert renders ,   belgium   (01.17.12)
22. Turkey hate Israel but want their money
Susya Bar Dror ,   IL   (01.17.12)
Well before the incident with the terrorist ship for Gaza, Turkey release two series of extremely antisemitic movies. They have been released in Arab and in some EU countries. The objective was to build up antisemitism, hatred against Jews an Israel. Tourists, spend your money elsewhere.
23. I wouldn't go there if it was free
Talula ,   Israel   (01.17.12)
I wouldn't spend one penny in their Jew hating country.
24. Clueless
Kerem ,   Turkey   (01.17.12)
Well, you are clueless. There are about 100-150 kurdish politician in parliament (total number is about 500). Leader of second biggest party is kurdish also. There are so many kurdish captain, general and soldiers in army.
25. hey you, Israeli tourist
Mike ,   London, UK   (01.17.12)
have some national and self-pride. Dont go to Turkey, not until they kick out the Islamist turkey who's ruining the place. Go somewhere that's friendly to Israel and Israeli's - I will NEVER go to Turkey till then, let alone any other wretched muslim country.
26. You have no clue
Metin ,   Germany   (01.17.12)
This is an INTERNATIONAL tourism fair, many people from all over the world will be attending. A good opportunity for Turkey to make itself known to the many Asians and Europeans coming to the fair. I don't think Turkey is "begging" for anyone.
27. To nr 26 - Sometimes I wonder if all Israel "critics"..
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (01.17.12)
...are collectively stupid, braindead, detached from reality, smoking weed or are simply and plainly lying deceitful and insincere scoundrels, but it seems that anti-Semites - ooops - I mean Israel "critics" seem to project their own individual and collective traits on Israel and Jews. For example Mr Metin - in your talkback nr 26 - it is named "You have no clue" and then you are babbling about Turks are not "begging" anyone and they want to market themselves to Asians and Europeans. I suggest you READ the article. The article says: "Israel's relations with Turkey may have reached a historic low following the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador from Ankara, but Turkey still plans to take part in a tourism fair scheduled to be held in Tel Aviv next month." Furthermore it reads: "More than 800 representatives from 28 countries are expected to take part in the fair this year and present intriguing destinations, attractions and vacation offers." Question: CAN YOU READ? DO YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH? More than 800 representatives from 28 countries ARE COMING TO ISRAEL. The Turks are planning to go to Israel - to Tel Aviv. Turks are going to Israel to attract Israeli tourists back. And the fair will be held in Israel - therefore primarily intended for the Israeli public - not for Asians or Europeans. YES - the Turks are begging us to come and visit them. It won't happen. Turkey and the Turkish people can shove their pro- "Palestinian" and anti-Semitic/anti-Israeli sentiments in a place where the sun doesn't shine. If Turks screw with us we will screw with you. Every time you Turks get cocky, we Israelis/Jews will bring down to the ground. Every time you insult us we will insult you. Every time you cooperate with the "Palestinians" we will cooperate with the Kurds. Every single time you threaten us we will threaten you. You simpy have to get off your high horses and stop pretending that Turks are "superhumans" and Jews are "subhumans" - it's actually the other way round. We don't take orders from Moslems - never ever. Do you get it finally? It seems that you have no clue.
28. #27 - I repeat, you have no clue
Metin ,   Germany   (01.18.12)
These fairs are aimed at businesses (primarily), luring tourists on an individual basis is done through ordinary means of marketing. These fairs are mainly attended by tourism businesses ordering hotel contingents and making long-term contracts about regular purchases of hotel-room-contigents and package-contingents that are later sold to tourists thorugh their respective businesses. Turkey isn't "begging" anyone. The article does not say that; this is pure conjecture on your part. That is only your nationalist mind playing tricks to you, so you feel better and satisfied. Turkey sees 30.000.000 tourists a year - 70.000 Israelis a year avoidung Turkey in the future is not going to bancrupt Turkey. This kind of fairs are not primarily aimed at marketing oneself to individual tourists, but to make business with tour-operators and the like from all over the world. But unfortunately, you seem to be so blinded by your nationalism, even calling me an anti-semite (which is slander and punishable by law, at least where I live), that I don't think a fruitful discussion will come out of this, so this should be my last comment to this article.
29. #23 Talula: Well said!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (01.18.12)
Why is our self-seeking Government still allowing Turkish Airlines to fly to Israel? Why is this same lot of useless politicians still allowing the supermarket chains and other importers to import goods made in Turkey? Some have the nerve to say that Turkey is not anti-Israel and not Antisemitic but we all heard the calls for Jews to get out of Turkey by the masses! If Israelis want to go to Turkey it must be made plain to them that that they are going to an "enemy country" and if things go wrong they will have to fend for themselves. If Turkish airspace is closed to Israel then why should Turkish Airlines be allowed to fly here? You want to go to Turkey then go via Europe and pay the extra!
30. #25 Mike: Tell that to your prime Minister!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (01.18.12)
He loves the the Turks, hates Israel and says nothing about the massacre of the Kurds! It won't be long before Dave becomes Daoud and the Queen will have abdicate in favor of her son, the Sultan of Britanistan, the new home of Islamic Terrorism, supported by Ken Livinston, Ken Loach, Elvis Costello and Annie Lennox with their hero, the future Prime Minister, Abu Qatada!
