Dwyer's solar "tree" clearly requires complex engineering and assembly, which raises the cost of any installation. Will the 20% increase in voltage compensate for that? I seriously doubt it. The real solution, I would suggest, is one that's integral with another product - building glass, for example - and does not require additional resources like vast patches of land.
