1. I saw a lot of destitute men in Beijing, but not women.
Michael ,   California, USA   (01.15.12)
Poor men, drunk men, scary men. They sit idle in passages under the main boulevards in Beijing. Usually there is a policeman at the end of the passageway, making sure there is no violence. Well dressed women are on the streets, some looking idle also. It's a huge country China, a huge city Beijing. Women policemen who would know how to handle criminals, whether men or women, are needed, I am sure. Israel can contribute and make some export currency while doing it. Making friends with China, the world's number one upcoming superpower, is wise. It's a win-win situation for Israel and China, short- and long-term.
2. Female Bodyguards Paid Better?
Shoshi ,   Jerusalem   (01.15.12)
$130 a day - for a high risk job? That's not a lot of money at all. That works out to about $13 an hour if one works a 10-hour day. Now, $130 an hour would be "well paid."

Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (01.16.12)
...Tibetan "separatists" who fight for freedom from those Communist oppressors in Beijing. The day will come when Dalai Lama's "peaceful struggle" has reached a dead end, and then it's time for more tough measures. THAT is where Israel has a role to play.
