hey marco, russia is a multi-ethnic state. same for its people. most russians are mixed with iranic and turkic blood. you find blond and red haired syrians, palestinians and lebanese, iraqis not because slavic slaves, but because their pre-semitic ancestors. according your logic, you would have also alot blond in every arab nation which had slavic slaves.

blond hair and blue eyes are receding genes, which means that when mixed with other genes most of the time they do not show up in people, this is the reason why you don't see many Arabs with such traits but skin color genes do not have a preference for one or another and mix equally. there is at least one Arab family in Jerusalem whose great grandmother came from Russia as a Christian pilgrim 150 years ago and stayed to marry a local Arab. Her decedents don't look anything like slavic people except for the lighter skin color. the fact still stands that over the centuries up to one million Slavic slaves where captured and brought to northern Arab lands in Syria and Iraq.
