1. Yup you gotta force everyone to love eachother
Al   (01.21.12)
What other BS do you have to peddle? Get it thru your stupid heads, as long as Arabs want to kill us Jews and do, then you cant bet the house that I along with millions of other Jews with a brain in our heads will not want to be within an inch of them. Take your 'gotta love everyone BS and park it'.
2. What a boatload of lies and hate

3. article is full of hate and lies
Miron ,   USA   (01.21.12)
if anything it's a racist article that is written by someone who either deeply hates Jewish people and would like to destroy a Jewish club with deep roots or would like to provoke controversy for reasons nobody knows or both.
4. The author must really hate Beitar
oliver ,   eilat   (01.21.12)
this guy must really hate beitar as his artical is full of nothing but hatered for the club and its fans
5. why post on Beitar vs. racism wasn't posted? Repeat...
Miron ,   USA   (01.22.12)
Beitar, Israeli Jewish football club, is being falsely accused of racism. Here is facts regarding how racist the club is. Some time ago Arab blocks decided to create and Arab club in Israel. After some attempts the club was experiencing a lot of difficulties, particularly due to scarse funding. Not to mention fair amount of anymosity. This is where Beitar played critical role. Beitar's owner, Arkadi Gaidamak, as an owner of national opinion on the matter gave a founding gift of .4 million dollarsto start things from the ground. I don't think anyone in healthy mind can blaim Beitar as well as its fun base of racism in this situation. Sure, they want to see Jewish club. Yeah, they are extremely particular that Beitar is to remain Jewish and not to hire people of Arabic descent. But are they racist? Let's look for a moment what racism is. It's about systematically denying "the other" a chance at level playing field, and when everything else fails, taking the life of someone who stands for a different race or ethnic group. Not only Beitar is not guilty of such a heinous offence. Beitar has acted opposite of this. The Arab club was given not only support by Beitar but fair level playing field and went on to win national cup of Israel and other prestigious awards. So, would someone deny noble past and good deeds and smother good club's name with libelous accusations? And why this fact based post is not being published? In the end, this points to systematic attack in press for the past month on Beitar for being Jewish. So, someone is racist in this situation. But not Beitar. The club's opponent is. As far as club's quality of game goes. Beitar had ups and downs. Was relegated twice from top league... Much can be said about it, but this would be a seaparete debate.
6. Miron #5
kelly ,   toronto   (01.22.12)
So separate but equal??? "Sure, they want to see Jewish club. Yeah, they are extremely particular that Beitar is to remain Jewish and not to hire people of Arabic descent. But are they racist?" YES!!!! Maybe now some enlightened non-racist will donate money to buy Arabs separate water fountains or public restrooms.
7. "maybe" that aren't is the root of your trouble
Miron ,   USA   (01.22.12)
and if instead of "maybe"-s you were trying to refer to facts, you will end up coming to Beitar with admiration and would certainly join me in wanting to keep this club character unmistakably Jewish. More than that. If this world cannot have one Jewish football club, with history such as Beitar, than Fuhrer has won. As for your using images of segregation of United States of America, systematically applied over entire races for hundreds of years, and carbon copying them over Israel with impunity and without justification, Hashem is your judge.
8. yalla beitar!!!
ester   (01.22.12)
actually we r the best fans ever!!!! and beitar is a team of jews no matter what no arab will ever wear the menorah!
9. The funny thing about this issue...
Avi ,   NYC, USA   (01.23.12)
...is that the most vocal racists among Beitar fans are themselves Arabs. The majority are Jewish Arabs in origin. The name "La Familia" is only a humorous attribute to Mafia movies and does not indicate ant Italian or European origin.
10. Miron - do us a favor and stay in America
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (01.23.12)
The article is full of painful truths, something to which armchair experts talkbacking from America have trouble understanding. Yes indeed, it is certainly embarrassing to hear "mavet l'aravim" as you walk by Teddy Stadium. Tell us, Miron, what would happen to any American team if every week their fans chanted "death to blacks" or "death to Latinos"? They'd be heavily fined. If the behavior continued, the team would be kicked out of the league. The root of your trouble, Miron, is that you pretend to be a Beitar fan in America, but it seems that you really do hate the team and want to see it fail.
11. Thanks to 400$ millions of Gaydamak the team won cups
dave   (01.30.12)
No one, in the history of Beitar Jerusalem had put more money than Gaydamak, sponsored beitar!! This guy is so generous!! but the truth of the matter is, they do not deserve his magnanimous donations!! over 500 millions in total. I believe Gaydamak now wants results, at least sell tickets and not sneak to the games. Racism is also a problem Gaydamak tackles. He is right when he conditions further payment on good behavior of the fans. The rules are simple: avoid barbarism and get more sponsership from him,
12. Okay racists...
Nick ,   London   (03.08.12)
Racism means to see a race as inferior and yours as superior. This is obviously racism. Your defending it is no better than defending neo-nazies. You are a hypocrite for claiming otherwise and your accusations worthless.
13. good...
niccolomcfl@aol.com   (03.08.12)
Thank God. I thought it was more than just Miron speaking at first. It is good to hear a voice of reason.
