Here's the issue: Democracy - 1 man, 1 vote Egypt - split classes between 1) rich & corrupt, 2) middle class & moderate, 3) poor & uneducated + group 3 is the largest so it's only expected that this was going to happen. the second the first rally happened. stop being so hopeful about the Arab Spring bringing peace. it's going to bring war. all of the talk about Israel being rapacious about water, gas, etc. - it's the same as the euro anti-semitism - just state level this time. iranians say they intend on wiping us off the map, the ikhwan warns of dark days ahead, hizbullah and hamas the same. what would you say is going to happen?

The article is very balanced & gives good insight of the situation. The question is, How bad are they for Israel! For the Egyptians, I guess they're beneficial! They're patriots & reformers. Beside being well organized, widely spread & mostly pretty well skillful & educated! We have to face the reality! They're good for Egyptians! But not on the personal liberty & democratic front! If we'll consider that 45% of Egyptians are below the poverty line and they're religious people by large, then brotherhood is a kind of social progress for them. For Israel, on the other hand, it's a disaster! They're same as Hamas! Having a free election in Egypt now is a big mistake! Same when happened in Gaza! The intellectual secular class in Egypt will definitely be marginalized. That's bad! It's pretty sad at the same time.
