1. the future for solar energy should be self generation
zionist forever   (02.07.12)
All Israeli buildings should have solar cells fixed to them for the purpose of self generation and any surplus can be sold back to the grid. It will mean an alternative source of energy to the gas fields, it saves money and in wartime more buildings will still be able to get some power. Train stations, gas stations, private houses, the Knesset building, industrial parks built from scratch. All of them ideal designs for self generation. Even on residential buildings I am sure if it could be done in a way that looked nice instead of just having a piece of glass on the balcony have a solar panel fitted to it, if its going to mean electric bills are cut I don't think to many people would object. Its not the solution to the countries energy needs but it would do alot, we are all used to having solar powered water heaters on the roof so lets attach solar panels to buildings so wasted space can be used for power generation.
2. Solar Powered Air Conditioning
Zivron   (02.09.12)
It cannot be understood why solar powered air conditioning has not been developed even as a hybrid with electricity or wind powers. The tecnology is ot there somewhere.

I like your thinking... and the technology has already been developed - by Israel, of course. It is the tulip-shaped "flower power"stations, successfully launched in Spain. These solar-hybrid "plants" can actually transform solar heat into cold air. The story was recently reported on this very site. Chazak, Yisrael!
4. Only $10.75 profit? I make more than that in an hour!
