Why couldn't I vote this year. Someone in Meretz forgot what Democracy is. I don't know who i will vote for, but I will have to think really hard before I vote for a non-Democratic Meretz

First she managed to get the Arutz 7 radio station taken off air. After that she tried and failed to get the courts to order their website be closed down and later tried to get the courts to remove the moderate right JPost site. Meretz have made very clear many times they champion the idea of a free press. They just forgot to mention that if they think the media outlet is to right wing then its not covered by free press. The latest proposal from this hypocrite is she wants the state to pay haredi to turn their backs on religion and become secular. Whatever your opinion of haredi nobody has the right to pay them to give up their religious identity.

It's because Meretz remains a "boutique, north Tel Avivian faction". They have little support outside that quarter.
