If you do enough of it you could convince a straight man he's gay, anyone that red is blue, or a white man that he is black. I once saw one of these converted LGBT people preaching near my uni. He was basically preaching that history had shown the white man was superior to all darker races. I can't help but to wonder if this therapy didn't damage his cowardly mind. Don't force your own brand of "salvation" on a person who doesn't want it. If a person's born LGBT and they're happy with who they are, then don't try and change them.

There has been such a long standing 'loud & public' proclamation to legitimize homosexuality from many organizations, that imprisoning someone to a 'gay' tag might well serve someone's interests. It's almost like locking someone into a political or religious camp. As one grows up sexual experimentation can change, as well as sexual orientation. There could well be cases of extreme orientation, but the very question of human creation cannot be readily dismissed in this argument. No matter where one stands, we survive through natural recreation, even with medical assistance. Therefore, unless one wishes to see the end of the human race, one should appreciate that there is a natural order at play here. Accordingly, one should be allowed subtle assistance to ensure that sexual experimentation does not become a trap for one's natural rights to play a part in the continuation of the human race, and more importantly to at least have a chance to fully realize the love between a man & woman in the process. However, I'm not sure just how human some of these human rights activists really are? I suspect that many gay rights organizations are more concerened with public exhibitionism than the genuine welfare of those who they wish to keep locked up under a gay tag.

by means of an operation because they feel that they were not given the "Right" body at birth, or they feel the were "Born gay", why do they spend the rest of their lives having to take female hormone supplements to keep male testosterone from becoming to the fore front of their make up, or if a woman has an operation to have her parts replaced so she looks like a man and has to take shots of male testosterone to keep her looking like a man. I mean if they were truly born gay, why are they having to take man made things to keep them looking that way? Do you take your dog to the vets to get cat hormone shots because your dog thinks that it was really born to be a cat? So simply put, if gays were Born to be gay, why do they spend all their time, money, and energy to change their appearance that they had at birth? That dog don't hunt no more man. A transgender person feels that the body they were born into doesn't suit their gender. A homosexual person just likes people of a different gender. Most don't change anything about their physical appearance. Many behave in a masculine manner and wear the same clothes (well maybe not the same, for whatever reason gay dudes really know how to dress with style). Some behave in a feminine manner and also like people of the same sex. They are both transgender and homosexual then. If you consider every homosexual the same as a transgender person, it's like considering every Middle Easterner a Persian or Arab. Please make sure you know the difference between these two before trying to make a point that will fall flat.

Hello Ora, i am a gay man, i guess you find that a bit shocking. I knew i was gay from an early age, i am not physically attracted to women what so ever, i have nothing against women some of my best friends are women. A hetrosexual person cannot understand what it is to be gay. Being gay is not just about sex its also about love, respect and partnership. I lead a happy life with my partner and 2 children, we strive to be good people and work hard to help others and support many charities, SO please try to to judge us based on a religious belief that we do not share Because of hatred much from religious people a lot of young gays commit suicide, words can kill. 3 years 2 young people were murdered in cold blood in tel aviv why? because they are gay. Maybe you should take time to meet someone who is gay, i think you might be pleasenetly suprised we dont have horns or a tail ,you might just meet the best friend a girl could wish for. they have no control over what they are,a study was done on a group of children boys and girls, age,3-4 they were given toys to play with,fire trucks,dolls,years later the experts were right on their predictions 80 %,based on what kind of toy the boys and the girls picked up, but to grant the homosexuals a right to marry is insane,how about people marrying their pets ?.or even a tree they grow up with, and are emotionally attached to,the problem with the homosexuals,is that, before, they were in the closet,now they trying to force the heterosexuals into the closet,heterosexuality will have to go underground,it will be forbidden by law.

Most psychological journals and modern practices completely disagree with Israel's latest concept. These efforts were tried in the past and only caused damage. Torah and mental health are not exclusive of each other but conversion therapy has always been demonstrated to do harm. Imagine what the outcry would be if gay therapists tried such therapy on straight clients. This would be considered wrong. Why through any stretch of the imagination is it not considered wrong to use such methods on gay people?!

It may work for some but its not something we should force upon anyone else. In most functional societies, one is encouraged to fall in love, get married, and procreate. Its understandable why some people might find it upsetting if a person comes out of the closet and decides that he/she has SSA (same sex attraction). I accept homosexuals as people like us but not when they force us to be tolerant of their lifestyle by trying to legalize homosexual marriage etc. If you don't like religious imposition, then you should have the same consideration towards us and not coerce us into embracing something we find depraved and abominable. I have heard that it is possible to find a cure for religious fundamentalism. I am sceptical about this, myself and, in any case, I do believe that one should be able to hold to any religious orientation, as long as it is not forced upon others.
