2. In all seriousness: That ritual means NOTHING
EZRA THE PROUD JEW ,   USA-ISRAEL   (02.15.12)
yes, its an ugly practice but harmless. All of the prayers in the world isn't turning a Jew into a mormon. Its a joke of a notion. They baptize everyone who dies. Silly people.
3. Mormons Apologize
Bob ,   NJ   (02.15.12)
I would have serious reservations voting for a Mormon especially for President as their religion has extreme ideas and practices. They lied when they said that they were stopping the practice of baptizing holocaust victims.
4. mormon and grneology
moron ,   galut   (02.15.12)
they are[another] cult claiming credibility by fabricated connections or links the the one true g-d of israel.. iseal. romney is ideal opponent for a president whose own religious beliefs are clearly suspect-at best!
5. Mormon's have been doing this for years
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (02.15.12)
Baptizing dead Jews by default, because they were dead and unable to protest Someone should get Mitt Romney's opinion, he rambles on about so many things, why not about this?
6. A fake "religion" performs a worthless ceremony, no big deal

"SCIENCE NOT ANCIENT MYTHS" Science shows that ancient myths have strong reasons and deep significance. Only ignorants can have so strong opinions than yours :-/ BTW I'm a professional scientist.
8. What about a great grandchild doing
jason white ,   afula,israel   (02.15.12)
research on his or her family 150 years from now? He or she will see that their family was baptized mormons. I found many of my relatives, grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and cousin who were born Jews, lived their lives as Jews and died Jews buried in Jewish cemeteries listed as baptized mormons. This must stop now! And all Jews and others removed from this heathen cult's records!

11. Liberal Propaganda
Shmuli ,   Eretz Yisroel   (02.15.12)
A) This is NOT news. Yes Mormons are a bit bizarre in their religious practices, and as an Observant Jew this type of disregard & disrespect for our wishes bothers me, but clearly this is an attempt to just show that Mormon's and by extension Mitt Romney, (the most palatable Republican to the Left) is crazy & not fit to run the country....The same way we didn't judge Clinton for the actions of all Christians and we don't judge Obama for the actions of all Muslims, let's NOT judge Romney on the actions of all Mormons.

13. G-d never blessed Israel
observer ,   Egypt   (02.15.12)
The promise that God made to Abraham in Genesis 12:3, "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." Is a promise that God made to just one person, Abraham. The original Hebrew is in the second person singular, meaning that God is speaking only to Abraham. "thee" is singular, referring only to one person, whereas "ye" would refer to multiple persons. They say that the promise of Genesis 12:3 applies only to the descendants of Isaac. Of course, there is no mention of Isaac in Genesis 12:3. They often misquote the verse, saying it refers to "blessing Israel," but Israel is not mentioned in the verse either.

19. #14 BLIND OBSERVER
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (02.15.12)
Torah permitted polygomy since there wasn't any state of national laws forbidding it The Mormons practice polygamy, IN VIOLATION OF BOTH THE LAWS OF THE USA and of the individual states the Mormons reside in
20. state of the dead
RC ,   USA   (02.16.12)
The Mormons and some other Christians sects seem to not study the Holy Bible or they would know that it states that the souls of the dead are asleep and will not be resurrected until the time of judgment: Psalms 6:3-5, 13:3, 115:17, 146:4, Job 14, Ecclesiastes 9:5-6, Isaiah 38:18-19, John 3:13, John 11, Acts 2:29-35 …. There is an implication that some will be resurrected just before the tribulation period: 1Corinthians 15, Revelations 20 and others.
21. simon wiesenthal's/elie wiesel's parents et al.mormonized
mimi jacques ,   oob,usa   (02.16.12)
This mormonization after death of people belonging to other religions is deprivation of one's dignity/person and its practice must stop. Who else is on their tabernacle rolls? The mormonization of Simon Wiesenthal's/Eliw Wiesel's parents by an unnamed person by proxy in UT,ID.AZ was done to hurt Mitt Romney- Mormon Church 'leaders'must divulge the name of that person and on behalf of whom this was done.

24. posthumously baptizing parents, why not himself
observer ,   Egypt   (02.16.12)
because he was covered by the1995 deal of not baptizing holocaust survivors or because Simon was Nazi hunter, or because his tomb is water-proofed for immersion.
25. Mormonization versus Evanglization,
