1/3 of the US States abolished death penalty - Why? Because the Jury of Twelve and the Judge can be and were proven to be wrong ,...
32. #10 - German investigators disputed Pally version
William ,   Israel   (02.16.12)
a couple of years later, German investigators spent a massive amount of time looking over pictures from both sides, gun placements, ballistics checks, holes in walls, shadow of the sun, etc. and gave their verdict - without a doubt, IF the boy was killed, it was not by the IDF. There is dispute over if he was even killed in the first place.
33. #20 - Doesn't make Israel any less innocent
William ,   Israel   (02.16.12)
but the fact that in the face of overwhelming evidence this man continues to lie, does underscore his guilt.

ghostq   (02.16.12)

William ,   Israel   (02.16.12)

Curiously enough, if that is your standard of measure, you're backing the wrong side. Each and every Arab and Moslem country has a death penalty. So does the "Palestine" Authority and Gaza. In the Arab and Moslem worlds, there are no juries of twelve; just a rabid judge. Why do you keep shooting yourself in the foot? Can you name a single Arab ever sentenced to death in an Israeli court? Yet, daily, in the Arab world, individuals -- frequently, their guilt questionable -- are sentenced to death and executed. Just look at Iran -- a country which executes juveniles. How disgusting is that? Just enlightening you to the facts. Did you have a point behind your diatribe? If there is any question to be asked, it would be if the boy who lost his life (due to random ersatz "Palestinian" fire, by the way), was mentally defective or physically incapacitated. Sad to say, that would make him quite expendable to his family .... and a way to earn money in the bargain. Primitive, isn't it? But so is sentencing someone to death for the "crime" of selling property to a Jew. No such thing as "free enterprise" among the ersatz "Palestinians," unless you are trying to parlay your child into a financial windfall. Disgusting, isn't it?

41. The boy was unharmed he moved and looked from behind shouder
look it   (02.16.12)
The boy was clearly seen in the end of the footage when he moved his shoulder and looked out from under it. He was ALIVE and unharmed. There was NO blood. This was STAGED, and stupid leftist Giora Eiland rushed to take responsibility and said he's "sorry". Damn the liars Enderlin and Bob Simon!

Seva Brodsky ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (02.17.12)
Take 2: Dear Aviel Magnezi and other YNet writers and editors, Why YNet repeats blood libels fabricated by Israel's enemies is anyone's guess. At the very least, if nothing else, phrases such as "caught in a fire exchange" and "[t]he boy was killed" should have been preceded by "allegedly," "purportedly," "ostensibly," "reportedly," or some such thing. But instead the YNet author merely parroted the lies fabricated and repeated by Israel's enemies. Why? What happened to fact checking? The only people who said that the boy was shot and killed were the Pallywood staff, who created this hoax in the first place -- mainly the Palestinian Arab cameraman Talal Abu Rahma and his employer, French-Israeli Jew Charles Enderlin of France-2, who lost his libel suit against the infatigable and indomitable Philippe Karsenty, who prevailed in the appellate court. Enderlin the liar appealed to the French Supreme Court. Watch him go down in flames of infamy soon enough. The fate of the boy is still unclear at this point -- for all we know, he may still be alive and well. What has become abundantly clear, however, is that he was NOT shot (let alone killed) by Israeli soldiers in the alleged "fire exchange." Most likely he was NOT shot at all, as the whole video sequence was a staged theatrical production for international consumption. But even if he was shot, the fire could NOT have come from the Israeli side as it could NOT have hit the father-and-son team of political drama actors on account of impossible angles and obstacles in the way of the Israeli outpost (line of sight, angles of bullet impacts, etc.), as several thorough ballistic analyses have proven unequivocally -- to say nothing of the fake video itself, where it's abundantly clear that nobody -- neither the father, nor the son -- in the video was actually hit by the supposed Israeli fire, as several thorough ballistic analyses have proven unequivocally. But who cares about the facts, right? As someone once quipped, don't confuse me with facts, as I would never let the facts stand in the way of foregone conclusions. BTW, if anyone is interested in facts, it's worth looking up Richard Landes' website SecondDraft and his blog TheAugeanStables -- plenty of hard evidence is exhaustively documented there. And finally, why Israel had to wait this long to launch a counter-attack against such blood libels and fabricated falsehoods is anybody's guess, too.
45. France 2, a disgrace to TV reporting
Yossi   (02.17.12)
A credulous media has made a mokery of reporters, idiots of editors/managers and accomplished liers of fake TV newscasters monkeys. France 2 holds the banner proudly as they usually do when confronted with lies, distortions, made-up facts. " L'affaire Dreyffus " the love affair with " les Boches " in 39' come to mind regarding french perfidy at it's best. Of course the stupid confession by Israel did not help -- pouring water on hot oil. It gave the full force of arab mobs, govts, mosques, their koran, their allah, their muhammad and ayatollahs to spew their their venom, their vile reporting, their swill in abundance & unrestrained to an eaguer anti Jewish audience gobbling every word; in essence to the whole of arabia garbage. Shame to France. Unfortunately this word does not exist in their encyclopedia. Bravo Philippe Karsenty

Spare me your snow job tirade, what I meant it was the notion that the jury of 12 can be wrong not to mention the judge in France. BTW, an Arab and Muslim regimes don't call themselves or pretend to be democracies, so please save your breath ,...
47. Effects of bullets
Sarge311 ,   Gladewater TX, USA   (04.01.12)
As an ex-Marine and 3 year combat veteran, I can't count the number of people I have shot and see shot by the enemy, both with M-16's and AK-47's. The amount of damage done is horrific. The bullet passes through the body and copius quantities of blood and tissue are sprayed, covering anything in close proximity. I have watched that video many times and as an experienced observer, I can tell you that the boy was not shot by anyone.
