3. This is why terrorism wins.
Toronto, Canada   (02.23.12)
The response to terrorism is avoid Israelis, as opposed to take preventative measures. Sickening.

5. Dangerous in UK to be with Israelis
Ssyd Chaden ,   Palermo Calif USA   (02.23.12)
What courage! What commitment to principle! What a poor excuse for a so-called freedom loving country! No wonder they call them infidels.
6. BRAVE BRITISH
joanne ,   spring tx   (02.23.12)
once again the british show their true colors...the problems that Israel now face has been added to 10 fold by their fear of islam...sorry to say the dear leader of my country shares the blame also.THE difference is our dear president seems to love not fear islam!!God bless Israel..we the people stand with you
7. The Israeli government does not tell it's people the truth
Ivor Beenthere   (02.23.12)
As a consequence when stories like this become apparent Israelis are shocked and outraged. The fact is the Israeli government's actions are isolating Israel to the point where Israel's friends are seperating themselves from Israel (at least publically). I for one am perfectly comfortable that the United Kingdom is boycotting Israeli diplomats.
8. # 1
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (02.23.12)
I'm sure you would be. People would be saying " Who is the retard thats with the Israeli diplmat?"
9. British appeasement and cowardice, and a touch of racism
Abraham ben Jacob ,   Canada   (02.23.12)
This British hypocracy and cowardice is what Israel has been contending with all along, including the Brit and Euros. love of oil and "oil appeasement ". Countries are afraid of being targeted, yet there are targeted bombings in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya and many other Muslim countries. If Brits. don't want to be targeted, why are they in Afghanistan and elsewhere around the world ?
10. British appeasement much worse in 1930's & 40's
Abraham ben Jacob ,   Canada   (02.23.12)
The British were afraid to let in Jews to the territory of Palestine in the 1930's for fear of more Arab riots and violence. They restricted Jews also in the 1940's and even after WW11. Let's face it, the British P.M Sham-berlin's policies of appeasement sum up British Government attitudes untill this present time.
11. Israeli diplomats should avoid UK diplomats
Zev ,   USA   (02.23.12)
Israelis government officials should avoid UK and EU officials since all they want is for Israel to give up its land and stop building homes.
12. If they're scared of being near Israelis...
Roscio ,   Rome, Italy   (02.23.12)
They can always hang out with Iranian nuclear scientists.
13. #7 I am Comfortable
Moisha Kapoir ,   Nanuet USA   (02.23.12)
I am comfortable with Jews boycotting British bigots like you. Please do not use Polio Vaccine as a Jew discovered it.
14. Whilst I am not at all surprised with yet
Bugles of retreat   (02.23.12)
another British edict against Israel and Jews, I cannot agree with Nos. 1 and 7 and I am totally embarassed and sickened by such human-stain type of comments. These kinds of comments 70-80 years ago were a precursor of Nazi ideology an, unfortunately followed by the killing of more than six million Jews. I would like to assure Nos. 1 and 7 that Israel will not allow any more new Nazis disguised in islamist extremists to touch any more Jews and/or Israelis. Today, we can afford to defend ourselves up to the brim. Neither will I be deterred by any British bugle sound of retreat and by the way, who the hell wants to travel with British diplomats? That would be, under the circumstances, utterly embarrasing
15. WRONG ANSWER! Britain failed the test of courage and honesty
(02.23.12)
16. Why Sir,...THAT is abject.....
Gideon Reader   (02.23.12)
POLTROONERY. Poltroonery, says I. They should be horsewhipped. If I had a horse, I would whip them m'self. They would look lovely in a pale buttercup yellow. This years selection for the U.K.'s dippy diplomats.
17. appeasement
alsky ,   toronto   (02.23.12)
never works. Some people are just plain dumb !
18. Diplomats @ risk
Etienne ,   Nova Scotia Canada   (02.23.12)
The UK has with all their sanctions against Israel and their love affair with radical Islam partly created this situation. They got what they wanted now they do not want what they got.
19. Predictably enough ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.23.12)
... the British government has it completely backwards. Instead of lending tacit support to terrorist elements which permeate British society these days, wouldn't it make far more sense to issue a public statement to the effect that any terrorist attempts against Israeli diplomats on British soil will be met with extremely harsh consequences? And shouldn't they be beefing up security protecting Israeli diplomats (or, in the alternative, allow Israel to add protective details of its own)? But that would be expecting British government officials to act in a civilized manner, something which has consistently eluded them. Do the British think that we have forgotten Shlomo Argov (z"l)? We haven't.
20. #1. right now you must swear off all israeli/jewish products
ralph   (02.23.12)
show you mean what you say and are a man of honour. no more majority of modern medicines, medical procedures, diagnostic tests, or medical equipment. and if you want to be true to yourself. throw away your cell phone and computer. now lets see how long you will survive. brain diseased animals like you are such a waste. to be pitied and scorned. its your type which knock jews down thereby hindering mankinds progress.

24. No 7 with the stupid fake unfunny name
emma ,   London   (02.23.12)
Of course the Israeli government's actions are isolating Israel, whatever the Israeli government does, Israel will still be isolated because Israel is always in the wrong. Love of Arab oil reserves and the natural anti-Semitism of the British will see to that. How comfortable will you be living in the UK under Sharia law? The British people's constant appeasement of the highly vociferous Muslim minority and its unwillingness to stand up to them, means that the UK is already a long way down the road of becoming a nation ruled by Islamofascists. I for one will be quite comfortable for the British to suffer in this way, after all they deserve it for being spineless, gutless anti-Semites. I will not be here when it happens, I will have long emigrated to Israel. I wish you luck, you are going to need it!
25. No 1
Emma ,   London   (02.23.12)
But people like you would relish being seen in public with Hamas, Hezbollah, Fatah, PLO, Syrian, Libyan and all the other diplomats from Middle Eastern totalitarian states. Just like Ken Livingstone. It would show how inclusive and open minded you are and make your anti-Semitism credible.
26. Ashton should avoid hamas for the same reason
John ,   NZ   (02.23.12)
27. @ 24 Emma
Ivor Beenthere   (02.24.12)
Don't let the door hit your behind on the way out.
28. good sense
anotherday ,   usa   (02.23.12)
Why should the Brits put their own people in harm's way? That's Israel's problem, and they can just get over it. No country should EVER put another country's people first.
29. British Jew hatred never ceases to amaze
