33. @#6, 8, 15 and other re: Rania as Palestinian
naava ,   jerusalem   (02.28.12)
Queen Rania IS Palestinian, born in Kuwait of Palestinian parents both from Tulkarm, Israel. She has earned the reputation that #6 spoke of, not because she is Palestinian but because of what she says. She has long spoken against Israel and against the Israeli govt. with all the strong vehement anti-Israel language of most Palestinian and Arab leaders. It is true, many Palestinian people want peace and are genuine about it, respecting Israel and not filled with hate. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of their leaders.

Hi Jordanian, Your words and hopes are very nice but we need to understand that all these good acts between the 2 people need arrive to the news in order to teach the children that coexistance is possible. Unfortunately, especially on one side, too much hatred is being tought from family and school. Shalom, Salaam

Thanks for reasonable comment. Yes they are beautiful sisters but I wouldn't want to be walking in their shoes. I can't even begin to think how difficult and stressful it is for them.
40. 'Royal Housewives of the ME'?..
Aaron Allen ,   Lafayette IN USA   (03.01.12)
I see where some other commenters have mentioned the 'reality' TV shows [wives of crooks, professional ball pla yers, etc.]...I wonder if a TV show of [ficticious] royal, political, military wive s of 'leaders' with all the drama of the situation they find themselves in cud perhaps express the actual feelings, experiences, etc. of themselves, their families, kids, friends? With western and Asian languages dubbed in [or captioned] other folks of the world cud better understand the characters' con- cern, fears, anger?..Each episode be- gins with a radio or TV newscast with the 'wives' watching/likstening--then proceeding with their dialogue/action? ..Aaron Allen...
