They are no danger to Israel or USA. Iran has signed the NPT and is a member of the IAEA. No one has any proof that Iran is developing nuclear weapons. Israel on the other hand has not signed the NPT, is not a member of the the IAEA, and is estimated to have no less than 200 nuclear weapons. Israel jointly developed these nuclear weapons with apartheid South Africa and even agreed to sell the South Africans some of these weapons. Who is the menace in the Middle East?

And if an Israeli strike on Iran will result in an Iranian retaliatory strike on a United States asset -- well, that would be the United States' problem, not Israel's. After all, how concerned was the United States when Iraqi SCUDs rained down on Israel in the First Gulf War, despite the fact that Israel stayed well clear of the issue? So if Iranian missiles rain down on U.S. naval vessels in the Gulf, Israel can just shrug its shoulders, too. Cost of doing business, you know?
