Well, now we know. Iron Dome WORKS! It works beautifully. It intercepts those missiles that are calculated to fall in populated areas, and ignores those whose trajectory will cause them to land in empty fields. With lightning speed, it also calculates the source of the missile launches, thus allowing Israeli Air Force jets to scramble and destroy the launch sites before the terrorists have had a chance to shut them down. All in all, a brilliant display of Israeli military technology, which is unrivaled. It is expensive to operate, to be sure, but I see nothing wrong in deducting the operating costs from the funds which Israel transfers to Gaza every month. Perhaps when the Gazans feel the pain, Hamas will stop encouraging other terrorist groups in Gaza to fire missiles into Israel. It hasn't gone terribly well for them thus far; despite all the hyperbole and rhetoric, the only place where the "earth shook" has been Gaza. The destruction of the massive weapons storage facility in Gaza certainly caused the earth to shake. But Iron Dome has proven itself to be far from the white elephant that some Israelis feared. The most important thing now is to increase the budget to get more Iron Domes deployed and the best way to achieve that is simply to use the funds earmarked for Gaza. This will hurt that terrorist rabble right where they live.

For sure there would be one day when USA would stops not only giving money but even stop weapons transfers . ..no need to worry "Israel" has IRON DOME ; )

This "Iron Dome " is not that. If anybody is attacked, must defend with every possible means. Israel has guns, missiles, bombs. So use them, and after such an attact as yesterday, make a new Sinai desert area instead of the city of Gaza.

I watched a demonstration in the US by the American-Israeli who heads the program. Very impressive. You can be sure the US is interested in this technology and considers it a good investment. The day will come when the US stops aid to the Palestinians. We've just watched over 100 kassams at $100 per kassam blast Israel.
