The UN has given more help and time in the General Assembly debates and in the Security Coucil deliberations than any other group of people. What have the Palestinians done to help the UN (and its members who need peace in the Middle-East)? Answer: nought zero. If they want to be a member of the General Assembly they must show compliance with the UN Charter. The Charter recognizes the right of self-defence. But what Gazans are doing is not self-defence. The Gazans are only interested in the destruction of Israel and America. I say their bid formembership of the UN should be opposed by all peace loving peoples everywhere.......... until they can show the world they are capable of respecting Israel's right to exist.
