Actually, it's not the same. What was done to Miriam is called "overkill." The psychopathology is different. In the case of the Fogel baby, it was a crazed nationalistic issue. Miriam's slaughter reflects an intense personal hatred. I suspect that, in the psychotic killer's mind, he was murdering all the Jews in the world by way of Miriam, may she rest in peace. Why her? Hadas murderer also had intense personal hatred towards her because he stabbed her to death,and her murder was just as horrific as the little girl who was cruelly murdered in France. Both of the killers were cruel,heartless people who hated Jews, and wanted to murder them regardless of their age.

While i'm generally opposed to the death penalty... some people have forfeited their right to live. I hope he's caught in some country that hasn't abolished the death penalty yet.

Are you really suggesting all Palestinians are that evil that they celebrate the murder of a baby and two little boys? I hardly think so,even though I agree terrorism is a problem in their society. My point was,both of those boys were just as cruel and evil as the murderer in France,and the fact that they laughed and smiled about stabbing children and a babygirl to death in coldblood in court,instead of showing remorse and grief for their horrific crime just proves this.

The total number of peope who were killed in the Maalot massacre was 22 and not, as you claim "23 children and 63 adults", i.e. 86 people. It would be easy to make a long list of Palestinian children killed by the State of Israel. Or draw a comparison with the cold blooded execution of 13 year old Palestinian schoolgirl Iman Darweesh al Hams in Gaza by an Israeli soldier, who after shooting her "confirmed the kill" by pumping her full of bullets, three of them in the head. I'd rather focus on the joint march by Jews and Muslims, which is being organised in France in the wake of the despicable murder of Jewish children, their teacher and the Muslim soldiers, to protest together against xenophobic hatred and intolerance.

There is nothing that can be said. It greaves me to no end. Even so I live in the US I am German. And it doesn't matter that I was born fifteen years after war's end. It doesn't go away what the Nazis did in my country and how too often the masses were compliant. I wish it would stop once and for all. We all need so much the peace that will last. But it will not be the peace of man but the peace of G-d who can rid us of so much evil.
