There are several groups in Israel that do exactly what you say (Druze, Circassians). They are generally well-liked and well-respected. They serve in the army and are seen as integral parts of Israel. A subset of the Arabs in Israel are also like this: they serve in the Army and see themselves as members of the state. Another subset of Israeli Arabs are hoping and working towards the demise of the state. They are less well-liked, but they are tolerated quite well considering the circumstances. (Imagine if European Jews were actively helping enemy states.)

As terrible and tragic as the murders were to call it a pogrom is going over the top. In the UK the relations between Jews and Muslims is generally quite good. I have an Israeli relative that does a lot of business with UK Muslims. He told me that they know he is Jewish and Israeli and could not care less. Keep things in perspective please..
