2. Well ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.25.12)
... it's either Egypt's fault or Hamas' fault. That poor innocent baby paid the price, but I don't suppose that really bothers Egypt or Hamas.
3. But they had enough fuel...
Ariks ,   Zurich, Switzerland   (03.25.12)
... for their rockets.

5. So,who's responsible?
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (03.25.12)
Why didn't Gaza's 'Hamas government provide some fuel? There may be a fuel shortage, but there is fuel in Gaza. I can only suppose that this baby's life wasn't a priority for them, especially as he wasn't likely to survive long enough to be a child human shield. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!

You should always care, when you stop caring is when you start to lose your humanity.
7. It's sad but......
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (03.25.12)
If less money were to go to weapons and the Sufa Arafats of the world perhaps the people in Gaza could improve their infrastructure. They have made the choice and only have themselves to blame. Being the welfare state that they are they will never take responsibility for their own actions. This poor baby had to pay the price for that.
8. Caring for Gaza
Iletzter ,   TA- Israel   (03.25.12)
Of course we care. We care for the Jews of Israel and the Jews in Toulouze and everywhere else. I suppose it is one terrorist less. Who knows what we were saved from. I am sure the Mehar from Toulouze's mother was very happy when he was born and when he started going to school and started talking !. What a cursed moment. So, who knows what we were saved from .

that's exactly what germans were saying while jews were being gassed in death camps - because they didn't think jews were human, just like israelis don't think palestinians are human. but you know, both are. please remember though, that nazis by whatever name always lose in the end. maybe you care about that.
10. #4ralph...Vote Hamas out?How?
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (03.25.12)
Before the Gazans can vote Hamas out, they have to be given the opportunity to do so.It doesn't work that way with Mohammedan regimes. Anyway,Hamas was never elected the government of Gaza;they just seized power in their traditional way. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!

Those are heartless and paranoid ways of looking at things. Truly people start to become the things that they hate.

James ,   UK   (03.25.12)
we have a crowd cheering dead babies just because they are palestinian...despicable.
14. Well at least he realizes that Gaza is totally abnormal..
Harry Wright ,   UK   (03.25.12)
An abnormal country with abnormal rulers and abnormal citizens who glorify death, murder and jihad. While normal people seek better lives for themselves, improvement in their living conditions and development in skills, Gazans utilize their time improving their bomb-making skills and waiting on handouts. What a bloody waste of humanity. A backward, terrorist society has no future. Imagine big, healthy men getting paid to spy on women and harass them about their apparel. Hamas is to be fully blamed for creating the abnormal society that Gaza is and keeping the people in a state of backwardness where they don't even have a steady supply of fuel while they are abundantly stocked with weapons. Don't blame Egypt. Hamas is fully to be blamed and they are nothing but a$$holes.
15. Huffington Post has already blamed the Jews
Steve from Raleigh   (03.25.12)
Because if nothing else, racists are predictable.
16. Same song, different refrain
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (03.25.12)
The racists of the world will finally figure out how to blame us for this death as well. I am sorry the baby died, and their leaders should face murder charges for it.
17. #1#8 Attitudes like yours will lead to Israel's demise
(03.25.12)
if they ever get the upper hand in the society. If Israel loses its democracy and moral values it will lose its US support. I hope it will never come that far, but things don't look so good.
18. us support
Iletzter ,   TA- Israel   (03.25.12)
Respect is earned for countries and people that have their priciples and stand up for them. It is Israel's obligation and mandate to protect its' jewish citizens. That is the reason the world agrred to grant the Jewish people a state. Not another state for assorted refugees- but a homeland for the Jewish nation. If the government will be steadfast in its' priciples and its' moral obligations and responsibilities- it will receive the respect and support of the world. If it is in Israel's interest - to destroy Gaza, that is what should be done without any consideration for the "innocent" people and bystanders. Israelis need to worry formost for Israel's interest and the wellbeing of its' Jewish citizens. Let Egypt and saudi worry about the Palestinians.
19. really?
(03.26.12)
" If it is in Israel's interest - to destroy Gaza, that is what should be done without any consideration for the "innocent" people and bystanders." Comments like that do more to help fuel the Palestinian cause than anything they themselves could say.
20. Sad about the baby: issue is not Israels problem
Ezra ,   US   (03.26.12)
Israel is under no obligation to provide anything to gaza. Not a thing. They're a self proclaimed enemy of Israel but are fully sovereign: Egypt is playing gaza just like the other Arab nations. They don't help their brothers and force Israel to provide instead. We've disengaged from gaza completely and only have to guard the waterways because those knuckle dragging morons in the strip would use shipping for weapons and another Iranian base, so THAT'S NOT going to be allowed. Pals dot want to build a nation: they want to live on welfare az they do in gaza, JUDEA and Samaria, Lebanon, syria, Jordan, Egypt, Tunis, Algeria, Libya, etc, etc. They have no work ethic, no morals, squander every chance for a better life and are so damn lazy it's pathetic. Gaza is not an Israeli problem: it's a Muslim/Arab problem. I have no sympathy for them just as I have none for Somalia and many other barbaric African nations. This is how they CHOOSE to be and live. So be it. Not our problem and not a 'cause' that even an intelligent, compassionate person would consider even humane. Better people out there who need and appreciate help.
21. #6 - too late for #1
Nina ,   NYC   (03.26.12)
Not a trace of humanity left. The sad thing is that with every post of its kind, less and less people care when the shoe is on the other foot.
22. re sympathy for the gazans/hamas
M Cohen ,   NY, USA   (03.26.12)
To those who come on this site to criticize those who don't show much sympathy for the suffering in Gaza: Picture yourself living in an Israeli city within range of the rocket fire from gaza. Yes, there are arabs in these cities too, having to deal with this as well. Where the siren can go off at any time of the day or night. Where your kids are afraid to go to school everyday. Where you see the world media universally IGNORE the conditions you're living under. As if its perfectly fine - as long as no one is getting killed. Now let's look at the situation in Gaza. Hamas is in full control there. Everyone knows it an authoritarian government. It is only interested in using any funds it can get its hands on - beyond basic infrastructure repairs - for paying for weapons and the terrorists ("militants" in the NYT) who use them. Are they engaging in anything other than farming that benefits it's residents, or exported in any meaningful way to other countries? It is indeed shameful that it is always looking for the west's sympathy when its rulers are a bunch of evil, hateful murderers, plain and simple. It is too bad for the innocent babies who were born into such a society. Based on what I wrote above, it is truly hard to muster any sympathy for the adults who are in charge.

What a load of sanctimonious, self-righteous, twaddle. You should all know very well Israel has always taken the moral high-ground in its dealings with Palestinians. If you don't, your are pitiful victims of certain media propaganda. No, I am not Jewish, but well informed. Haven't you figured out these paid Arab talk-backers who make a living by writing such inflammatory one-liners in the international press, or would you choose to believe their disinformation?

do you recall the palestinians cheering the death of 3,000 americans, some british too in there, when rthe twin towers went up in flames? do you recall the palestinians cheering bthe bombing in london of the underground train blasted by islamic terrorists? enough said.

rachel   (03.26.12)
I did not read one comment that cheered the death of the baby. However,I do read plenty of posts, and see plenty of photos of Arabs celebrating the death of Israeli babies and children. I also read how the sicko terrorist in France said he got "extreme pleasure" from shooting the little girl in the head at point blank, but of course,I guess this doesn't bother you because the children were Jewish, despicable indeed.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.26.12)
Out of curiosity, where is the Arab and Moslem world, so much of which floats on petroleum? Why haven't they provided fuel for their brethren so that sick infants do not die? Why should tiny Israel pick up the slack for them? Jews look after Jews. Why cannot Arabs look after Arabs? Or is it far more important for a Saudi "prince" to build yet a bigger palace? How is it Israel's fault if the entire Arab and Moslem world community choose to turn a blind eye? Are you that stupid?

28. GAZA BELONGED TO EGYPT BEFORE
Iranian Jew ,   Los Angeles   (03.26.12)
It should go back To Egypt to take care of it. All of these stories are none sense. They are killing themselves by their own hands. The shortage of fuel is not killing anyone. Egypt, Ham Ass and Iran are sacrificing Gazans slowly and painfully. Not wanting to accept the reality of the situation is what's killed that poor baby.
29. So ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.26.12)
When did this alleged baby die? Was it March 4th? Or March 25th? BIGGER QUESTION: Is there even a dead baby at all, or is this merely yet another shameless ersatz "Palestinian" ploy to garner sympathy? That would be my guess.
30. To: No. 13
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.26.12)
First of all, no one is cheering dead babies. Secondly -- can you prove that a baby actually died, or is it all just an ersatz "Palestinian" ploy, trying to tweak the heartstrings of an unsuspecting public? My money's on the latter. Prove me wrong -- and even if you do; prove that Israel is in some way responsible. Have you forgotten that Hamas has refused fuel from Israel, preferring Egyptian fuel instead? Of course, that has not been forthcoming, but that would hardly be the fault of Israel, would it? You are one truly deluded soul. Get a grip.
