If he has to pay back the 7 lifes his son took away. With no reason...priceless
2. France does not exist any longer
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (03.27.12)
Looking the streets of Paris I was impressed that I am somewhere in the Caribbean or in the middle east. The reality is that foreign invaders have already annihilated the historic character af France.
3. The joke about son who killed his parents claiming clemency
tom ,   tel aviv   (03.27.12)
in court because he's an orphan now is not a joke to the Arab mentality. They've been doing that for 40 years now. The joke is that the antisemitic world has swallowed it, hook & sinker!
4. Mohamed Benalel Merah is right the police should had to ....
Ari ,   Jerusalem   (03.27.12)
taken this muderer alive to discover who else is behind this hating campaign. Who led to the killings of 8 pesons? We already know his brother was being charged as an acomplice. But who are the groups of Muslim Fanatics in FRance who created this monster? Obviously the muslim clerigy has a lot of explaining in the matter. One thing is the freedom of speach and religion and the other is to use theese as indoctrination for incitement, homophobic hating and killing. Of course the reason for Mohamed Benalel Merah to sue the French State to the killing of his son has another motive, it is traying to make this monster a sort of martir. His body should not be given to his family but be buried in France not in Algeria where he wil be buried as a muhajadeen ( a wholy warrior). This is to compensate this monstrouse act. In a few days a Palestinian street will be named in his honor as a martyr mmmm!
5. #2 - Baguette and camembert
Gregg ,   Haifa, IL   (03.27.12)
Istvan, you really have a misconception of France !! Thank god France is much more than what you think it is. As a French citizen I am proud to see how colorful is my country and I puke your baguette and camembert vision
6. Countersue
R ,   Israel   (03.27.12)
Perhaps France should sue Merah's father for his contribution to the event that targeted and killed innocent French civilians.
7. Mr Mohamed Benalel Merah
valentina ,   israel   (03.27.12)
No parent should have to bury their children. The pain you are feeling is the same that your son has caused for many others. Maybe you should also be sued and punished for raising a monster, and for not preventing him from taking the lives of innocent people, which is far from what your son was.
8. I agree. France should be sued
Devorah   (03.27.12)
by the victims' families. France had the opportunity to tail and take this dirtbag into custody before anyone was murdered. All it required was a court order. They still haven't come up with a reason for why they didn't obtain one, at least that I know of.
9. Gunman's Dad to sue France
Roxy ,   israel   (03.27.12)
The families of his victims should sue him for everything he has ,. The Country of France should deport him for aiding a terrorist by giving him material support!
10. Is this the father who deserted his wife & children?
Cameron ,   USA   (03.27.12)
I thought I read recently that he ditched out on his family in France to run back to Algeria some years ago.
11. He'll receive all possible help from Amos Schocken,Gideon Le
ab   (03.27.12)
vy,Amira Hass &Co from the "Haretz".They'd go even further and will soon accuse the "Zionism which killed the upstanding young man and had caused the death of children in Tulouse"
12. only
daniela ,   panama   (03.27.12)
in a society that do not recognize and differentiate good from bad, somebody as Mr. Merah could do something like this.. I wonder if the French Legal system will accept his legal action. Mr. Merah, instead of spending his money against the French Government, should use his money to, in a way,(we all know dead people will not come back to life) repair his sons heinous killings. Then, at least he could show the world that he was not the source of his sons madness. Here he is just confirming that he is not different from him.
13. #10
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (03.27.12)
As a father of a Shahid who cleansed the world of three Jewish children, he is eligible for a generous pension from various Islamic and Leftist organizations, many funded by the US government. You can think of the lawsuit as filling out social security forms.
14. Arrest the father as an accessory to the son's murders.
Rivkah   (03.27.12)
15. Well then, #13, the $ makes you two brothers
Cameron ,   USA   (03.27.12)
For both Arabs and Israelis tend to run hard like a pair of greedy whores after every bit of US coin they can wrap their lil hands around.
16. To: No. 15
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.27.12)
Oh, shut your foul mouth. In case you haven't noticed, it is the Arab scum who seeks to capitalize on the death of his terrorist son. Personally? I'd rather have the innocent children and their rabbi restored to life. Not possible, but do you see anyone suing the French government over it? No, you don't. Now, what does that tell you about Arabs? You're a whore, Cameron. I hope you understand that. Not everything is about money. Some things are about justice. Whore.
17. What about your sons satanic death deeds, u jack---?
hippocrates ,   earth   (03.27.12)
you jack--- of a father, you are not human anymore, perhaps since you raised your children on the most vile of hate.
18. colossal chutzpuh
RP ,   Haifa   (03.27.12)
Instead of apologizing abjectly for what his son has wrought, the bastard has the colossal chutzpuh to demand compensation. The sad thing is that it is not in the least surprising.
19. typical islamist "reasoning"
red ,   toronto, canada   (03.27.12)
it's one thing for a true believer to kill a kuffar, but how dare the unbelievers to shoot back? that's blasphemy! that is the sick perversion of morality that the islamists teach.
20. Islamist gunman in France
carlos333777 ,   USA   (03.27.12)
Crazy! Execute the father for bringing to the world such a murdering monster! His son should have been shot on sight.
21. #16 Sarah B
Dallas ,   Canada   (03.27.12)
Well said! I like your posts.
22. His father is also guilty as an accomplice.
BUTSeriously ,   Australia   (03.27.12)
The Cleric whose mosque this dirtbag attended and who is funding that mosque are also accomplices. But fat chance of this with France.
23. I don't approve of shoot-to-kill most of the time
Henry from New York ,   USA   (03.27.12)
But if the guy's coming out with multiple guns blazing, and is endangering the lives of officers. A reasonable person would think you have to neutralise them as quick as possible. You can't have those guys take the time to aim for his limbs while he's likely to kill people. Besides, he was the one who chose to go out the window.
24. #22: How's the father an accomplice?
Henry from New York ,   USA   (03.27.12)
25. Bill the father for the bullets
Tom ,   Sacramento   (03.27.12)
and the victims' funderals, and then throw the body in the sewer where it belongs.
26. proper burial
L   (03.27.12)
The terrorist should be wrapped in the pig skin and dumped into the sea, and his entire family deported.
27. Grounds for arrest of the father
William ,   Israel   (03.27.12)
because he did nothing to stem the killing spree of his son despite his radicalization which the entire family knew about. That's called "aiding and abetting terrorism" and there's a heavy price for it in France.
28. If I recall correctly, police spent 33 hours with terrorist
William ,   Israel   (03.27.12)
to talk him out and bring him in alive. Only when talks were breaking down and the residents of the apartment complex were in increasing danger did the French police enter the apartment. And it was Merah who came out firing guns at the police in a ferocious way. The police were justified in killing him in self-defense.
29. #5 - and yet you choose to live in Israel..
William ,   Israel   (03.27.12)
a State you despise. One has to question your view of France if you ran away from such a Utopia to live in, as you claim, "a den of Zionist evil".
30. A joke, the dead is a killer...
Beary White ,   Norway   (03.27.12)
.. And there is no reason for anyone else than the family to mourn. The parents should mourn because they did not raise him well, but not for his death. He was a killer and the world do not need such crap.
