31. We subsidize the anti Zionist birthrate
jason white ,   afula,israel   (03.28.12)
with the child allowance. Stop giving child allowances to those families that did not serve in the I.D.F.! Have a defense tax on all those that did not serve in the I.D.F. and their children. The more they have to pay, the less children they will have. Take away the right to vote, sit in the knesset, work in government, go to institutes of higher education, have drivers licenses for private vehicles and have weapons licenses for all those that did not serve.
32. A reason to worry

33. A rather distant womb worry

36. Are Israeli Demographics Correct?
Yossi B ,   Brooklyn   (03.29.12)
While Many live with fear, they worry, one day the Arabs in Israel will be the majority. Thus justifying the "Two State Solution" *. What basis do they have for their belief? its the PLO, and the world Media Demographics conclusion. Truth is, Israeli demographics are looking great for Jews. Their Conclusion is flawed and short sited by the current Israeli-Arab birthrate. Simply put, Religious Jews have a much higher birthrate than Israeli Arabs. For example, While today there are 1.54 million Arabs, and 750,000 ultra-Orthodox Jews living in Israel. By 2059, there may be as many as 2.8 million to 4.54 million Arabs in Israel as apposed to 2.73 million and 5.84 million haredim. As adamantly clear, the Haredi birthrate is higher than the Arabs. Its just a mater of time before their numbers grow to be recognised on the Demographic map. And to those like Yair Lapid, who are worried of the eventual Haredi Majority in Israel. I say to you, don't sit back and complain while doing nothing. Haredim would be more than happy if the secular birthrate when up.
37. Jewish secular population; on maternal or paternal side?
observer ,   Egypt   (03.29.12)
38. #16 Jerusalem reality check
Menachem ,   Israel   (03.29.12)
Jerusalem proper meaning without the Arab alien neighboring towns and villages has a strong Jewish majority out of which 70% is non-haredi. The haredi population is going through a silent but great socio-economic revolution and in contrast to anti-haredi stereotypes, most haredi Israelis identify with Israel and Jewish nationhood (but not with the secular Zionist ethos)
39. #21 Haredi reality check
Menachem   (03.29.12)
The haredi population in Israel is going through a silent but significant socio-economic revolution and more and more are joining the work force and IDF.
40. To: No. 25
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.29.12)
Check your facts, dimwit. The Arab exodus from Israel is far greater, and Jews throughout the world are making aliyah all the time.
41. CBS predictions is a recurring joke
Eyal ,   Israel   (03.29.12)
The "experts" also predicted an Arab majority in 1967. CBS "predictions" are based on leftist post-Zionist dreams rather than facts on the ground Reality check: 1) The Israeli-Arab birthrate is falling dramatically and reaching reaching average Israeli fertility of 3 kids per family. CBS predictions ignore that around 250.000 non-citizen Arabs who live in the towns around jerusalem and another 250.000 Arabs in the little triangle area of Um el-Fahm will not be part of Israel in the future. 2) CBS statistics unrealistically expects current haredi Jewish fertility to continue for ever. In reality haredi birth rates are already falling as more and more haredim are integrated into the work force, IDF and Israeli society. Israel in 2060? Israel will have a strong Jewish majority who will be united as one Jewish people. Concepts like "haredim", "ashkenazi" and "sephardi" will be relics of the past. The Jewish state will be among the 10 most prosperous Western democracies in the world and the home for the great majority of world Jewry.
