I often see your comments, and I don't usually disagree with them, but seriously? You think that live fire is the appropriate response, and even tanks? This is not an invasion, and there are many steps between using less violent measures of crowd dispersal and what you call for. Don't get ahead of yourself. If the IDF starts shooting people and we have a repeat of last year, that is a BAD situation (for the dead and for Israel). I am strongly against the expropriation of Arab land, and for non-violent protest...but response to their violent protest should also be restrained to the bare minimum to keep order...which is not what you are suggesting.

Oh SarahB by the strength of your moral philosophy it is obvious to see that if somebody put a gun into your hand you would show yourself to be a mass murderer. I am a Jew and I have 2 sons in the IDF who have served valiantly in the West Bank. They and hundreds of thousands of IDF guys and gals like them would condemn you utterly. The IDF is a defence force...... not a gang of murderers. You think openning up indiscriminate gunfire at these protesters will make them go away! You and all those talkbacking on here in support of Syria's Assad are not worthy of Jewish respect. You belligerent crowd of blood thirsty morons. Go say some prayers and recognize the Sovereign of the Universe is sovereign over ALL HUMAN BEINGS. The more Palestinians who are killed so the stronger will be there aggression. Israel needs leaders and commandrs who can mobilize the international community to address the Arab's militant belligerent mentality. We need a non-violent philosophy. We need peaceful relations. I followed a link here from CUFI (Xians United for Israel) but that appears to be a somewhat unthinking organisation for anti-Arab sentiment. The best defence for Israel would be to stop the human rights abuses by the Israeli state. The support for extremism is largely a consequence of these abuses - dispossessing Arabs from their land, treating them as second class citizens, giving preferential treatment to illegal settlers who have immigrated from the US and elsewhere. I hope Ehai's sons are well and a more peaceful approach will eventually come to the fore in Israel
