You're absolutely right everyone who acts like a citizen and behaves according to the law of the land deserves equal rights. Sadly the protesters in this case have those rights yet excersise them to undermine the state in which they are citizens. Israel is not entering into Jaffa and expelling Arab citizens. If anything Israel gives these citizens more choices than secular Jewish citizens. Arabs are not required to serve in the military or even National Service. Perhaps THIS should change. No other country in the Middle-East gives their citizens the rights Israel gives to all its citizens-including the Arab ones. If these Arabs want more rights let them serve in the military or do national service.

So Israeli Jews are moving to Jaffa. Why? Location, Location, Location. As Tel Aviv gets as expensive as Manhattan, young Israelis would rather move a little south and still be close to the beach, the Tel Aviv nightlife and business opportunities. Compare that to moving to say Kyriat Gat or Lod for cheaper real estate. The only racists are those protesters who does not want Israeli Jews to move to their neighborhood.

The commentator above nicely helps explain nothing about Arabs in Israel but certainly a lot as to why the US, his home, has so many social, political and economic problems. He's a thug, pure and simple. And we have thugs running the US into the ditch, terrorizing immigrants and African Americans, wanting tax cuts for the rich at every turn, wanting to go to war at every turn and deepen the economic problems of the country. Israel, for us who admire her around the world, is a democratic country, with Jewish majority, but giving the same rights to any citizens, including Arabians that live into her territory.
