1. Damn the Egyptians!
shrinkDave ,   miami usa   (04.02.12)
Now they have this child on their conscience for not supplying Gaza with electricity. How could they!
2. Deaths in Gaza
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (04.02.12)
Obviously the IDF was not responsible for the horrible deaths of these poor children, but indirectly, the Zionist regime is because of the unreliability of its electricity supply to occupied Gaza. These children become martyrs for the Holy Land. Free Palestine!
3. parents were negligent
real vision ,   usa   (04.02.12)
The problem here is that the parents were negligent for not putting the candles in a proper safety container. And just wonder who pays for the fuel entering gaza.,There is a reason why there is an embargo in gaza...rocket fire and hostility toward israel...very simple
4. THE DEMONS MOCKERY

5. and why
daniela ,   panama   (04.02.12)
Hamas does not smuggle fuel as it does with missiles? It is not a good enough business?
6. This has gone far enough.
Devorah   (04.02.12)
Haniyeh and the rest of his jackals need to be taken out - all of them. This not the time to condemn the people who voted for Hamas. They know that they are reaping what they sowed. Condolences to the Bashir family.
7. Shortage caused by EGYPTIAN Blockade
Sandy ,   Israel   (04.02.12)
Vital background that YNet chose to leave out. After all, who cares if this crisis is blamed on Israel? From TIME magazine: (GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip) — A dispute between Egypt and Gaza's Hamas government has produced the worst energy crisis here in years: Gazans are enduring 18-hour-a-day blackouts, fuel is running low for hospital backup generators, raw sewage pours into the Mediterranean Sea for lack of treatment pumps and gas stations have shut down.
8. Blame the Jews: NOT the morons who cant handle a candle!
EZRA THE PROUD JEW ,   USA-ISRAEL   (04.02.12)
Mindless pals can't even handle a candle for G-ds sake! Don't see any houses burning down in Xmas time in the states. But in Gaza... yeah. Idiots would rather fund terror than nation building: they could've had solar plants, desalination plants for water and gas turbines installed A LONG, LONG TIME AGO. But instead; they fund terror, rockets, explosives, guns, weapons and 5 star hotels that no one can afford. leave to the pals to provide the supreme example of what the words ''Sub-Human" means. Fools.
9. Bullets or Blockades
Nina ,   NYC   (04.02.12)

10. My condolences,very sad,
Malone ,   Hfx   (04.02.12)
But..why is this newsworthy...my power goes out occasionally...happens to us all..but I don't burn my house down...so....what's your point here?
11. I am sure of one thing
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (04.02.12)
The racists won't take long in blaming us for something we had nothing to do with.
12. BS
Natan   (04.02.12)
Blame Israel now for this?? What about parents supervision?? Oh hold on, the father was busy preparing rockets for Hamas..
13. Horrible. Hopefully more parents will take care to warn
Henry from New York ,   USA   (04.02.12)
their children of the precautions that one must take when using candles for lighting.
14. #2 - the power station is in Gaza though...
Henry from New York ,   USA   (04.02.12)
15. I'll bet you anything ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.02.12)
... that the Mercedes Benz automobiles in which Hamas' leadership rides around have plenty of fuel. Anyone want to take that bet?
16. #2 Egypt is blocking the fuel - NOT Israel
Jonny ,   Cape Town   (04.02.12)
You probably are aware, but it does not suit you to understand that the Egyptian Government is withholding fuel supplies . Israel IS supplying fuel to emergency services like the hospitals. Why let the facts get in the way.
17. Nina # 9 / Rockets fired at Israel
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (04.02.12)
same result.
18. and this is on an *Israeli newssite because?????
tiki ,   belgium   (04.02.12)
19. #2 Occupied Gaza?
frauss ,   Jerusalem   (04.02.12)
There's nary an Israeli there. We got out in 2005. The only occupation in Gaza is that of Hamas and that is why the electric supply is so unreliable. They close the fuel faucet when they need a humanitarian crisis to get money, goods or whatever out of the world and make Israel look bad. But as you say, " the Zionist regime is indirectly responsible". We are indirectly responsible for ALL that is wrong in the world anyway so who cares!
20. no 2
alexa   (04.02.12)
So easy to blame Israel when Hamas themselves admitt that they don;t want to buy fuel from Israel. Never let facts confuse you in your hate for israel.
21. #2 Gracze -Once an idiot, always the same
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.02.12)
IDF is not responsible for supplying electricity or anything else, to the enemy in Gaza that has dedicated itself to destroying Israel I defy you, to name any country on this earth that has ever agreed to furnish supplies to their enemy during wartime...Name just one!! Gaza isn't "Occupied" there aren' any Jews there
22. #9 Nina - Not quite the same
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.02.12)
When bullets weren't being fired from Gaza into Israel, there was no need for a blockade
23. To: No. 9
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.02.12)
And not a word out of you about the missiles that have been fired from Gaza at innocent Israeli civilians. Not a word out of you about the mortar shelling from Gaza, also targeting innocent Israeli civilians. Not a word out of you about the IED devices placed by terrorists operating in Gaza intended to kill Israeli soldiers on patrol. Not a word out of you about suicide bombers from Gaza. Do you know what you are? I will tell you. A fraud. And a blind and extraordinarily stupid one, at that.
