how the rockets fired a few years ago against Akaba and Eilat, had a result of one killed and several injured in the jordanian side and none in Israel, Baruch Hashem. And there are poeple who do not believe in miracles..

4. it's time for more security
tom ,   toronto, canada   (04.05.12)
it's time for joint israeli-egyptian patrols in sinai. that would "build confidence", and minimize the chances of accidentally firing on friendly forces. and it would also provide some leverage for getting egyptian troops out of sinai when the situation calms down.
5. sinai just a dessert or a terrorist base?
Barney ,   USA   (04.05.12)
there should be a way to blast anyone who smuggles weapons into this area. night vision and deadly force.
6. It fell right across the street
Takan ,   Eilat Isael   (04.05.12)
We saw an explosion from our terrace. Only a bang and smoke, no fire. It was 300 meters away, across the street in an area that is under construction (luckily as almost no one lives there yet). It's right above the port of Eilat, at the southern end of the new Sheramon neighborhood. People talk about three explosions but we heard and saw only one. I hope they catch the guys who launched this thing before they crawl back to the hole they came from. How can such barbarism and primitivism be accepted by the western civilised world is beyond me. How can Israel not defend itself against this senseless provocations? Why is the UN condemning Israel for killing a know terrorist. Be strong Israel, you are the light and they are in the shadow.
7. Prayers
Adam Neira ,   Paris, France   (04.05.12)
Prayers for the residents of Eilat. The rocket launchers must be found and stopped.
8. Heard it very clearly at about 12:15 AM
Eilati ,   Eilat   (04.05.12)
a rumbling sound that sounded like thunder with 3 rumbles very close together and the last rumble was very loud. definitely a bomb or missile.
9. Oops, sorry evil zionists...we missed
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (04.05.12)
Yaani, who would want to kill unarmed civilians in a resort city? Really! It must have been intended for those nasty unarmed civilians in that zionist settlement to the north...what's it called? Oh yea....Tel Aviv. Sorry, nice unarmed civilian tourists in Eilat, we missed. We meant to shoot our indiscriminate but legitimate anti-personnel resistance at the zionist occupation settlers occupying Tel Aviv. Yaani...
10. Any Jews stupid enough to vacation in Sinai & get caputured?

Well, you probably thought about that before....

At least show some courage and talk as yourself. Sarah will have a few nice words for you very soon. Your post is a waste of electron. if you even know what that is.

joe moor ,   south africa   (04.05.12)
hey number 6 why dont you give the terrorists your phone number so next time they fire a rocket you can tell them in real time exactly where it landed
15. Eilat as a prime target
yosef eytan ,   Eilat   (04.05.12)
Sinai is the wild west now with all sorts of bad guys running around unmolested and the Israeli government will sit on their hands and say no problem, TILL, a few tourists get killed and the hotels empty out and then the deep pockets will complain and something will get done. Those in Gaza realize this and without an Iron Dome in place in Eilat they will shift their rocket fire more and more our way. Eilat is the cash cow the government can no longer afford to ignore.
16. Its time too take Gaza back .
Dyslexic.... ,   Israel..   (04.05.12)
17. Thank you
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (04.05.12)
Thank you Ariel Sharon and Olmert, IDF commanders, judges and police, journalists and justice department workers who ethnically cleansed Gush Katif of Jews and gave Hamas these Grads. You did manage destroy the lives of 10000 law-abiding Jews, but was it worth it now that EIlat is being attacked?
18. #14
Takan ,   Eilat Isael   (04.05.12)
As information goes today, you have pictures of the place all over the news and the landing location is detailed in the article. Your sarcasm is pointless.
19. Raze Cairo now
Maerwan   (04.05.12)
Unfortunately, Israel's desire to defend herself is again at an extremely low point - they will do nothing.
20. To Takan, # 18
Andi ,   Israel   (04.05.12)
I agree with Joe, #14, the article doesn't give the detail you give of exactly which neigbourhood was hit. The enemy can recalibrate its launcher now by300 meters and hit your house more accurately. You need to be more careful.
21. its time to take over
Sarah B ,   U.S.A   (04.05.12)
my mind is so one sided that i only see what i want to see..... lets kick all the Arabs out of Israel and take over the country... i'm very religious person that's why i'm full of hate and ignorance
22. The post at No. 3 is not mine
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.05.12)
Who in their right mind could be afraid of a country where most of the homes do not have electricity or indoor plumbing and whose military "boasts" motorcycle brigades? Wow! Motorcycle brigades. Against Israel's nuclear capability. Wow! Terrifying, isn't it?
23. According to Hamas, this didn't really happen
William ,   Israel   (04.05.12)
Rather, the Mossad went to an open site, dug a hole, used a slide whistle to simulate a rocket, and fired off firecrackers in order to create a context for kicking terrorist ass in Sinai.
