31. This affair in Hebron
Christian ,   Sweden   (04.06.12)
is very instructive in two respects: 1) In this conflict there is not only one racist. There is two. The intended Palestinian state will evidently be more racist than ever could be said of Israel as it is today. That is the concept of racism serves no other purpose in this conflict than to besmirch the side that is least racist! And those who uses that accusation against Israel knows that very well, but they find it useful once they have chosen side. 2) Once more DM Barak is acting like an errand boy for president Obama and State Department. Chag sameach
32. A country of law & order
Norman Gellman ,   Rehovot   (04.06.12)
Israel must be a country of law & order. The law of the land as enacted by its legislature (The Knesset) must be upheld without regard to sentiment or religious reasoning otherwise Israel will cease to exist as a democracy. These settlers did not bother to obtain the necessary permits as required by law. There is a question as to whether or not the house was bought legally or not. It is about time that the illegal actions of the far right be stopped. If the permits are obtained and the house is legally theirs then by all means they should occupy it, however, in a country of law & order their actions are illegal, therefore they should and were evacuated. Although I am sympathetic with the settler’s ideas of occupying as much of the land of Israel as possible, I firmly believe this must be accomplished in an orderly and legal manor, otherwise the world sets its self against us.

There is no question that the house was bought legally. The issue is that the Jews moved in before they got Barak's signature because they were afraid of squatters. In the meantime, Barak refused to give the seller asylum, so he was arrested by Fatah forces and he will be executed. As for "law and order", there is none in Israel. 1000s of convicted criminals were released for political reasons. Criminal Ariel Sharon was allowed to serve as PM. Ehud Barak set up fake organizations to funnel millions in illegal election funds. MKs take bribes without punishment (Goldfarb affair).
34. Sorry, David
emanon ,   USA   (04.06.12)
I visited the site and was immediately turned off by the extreme proselytizing nature of what was posted there. There was also a failure to state any kind of coherent thought process on the site. I am still skeptical of the claims.

His name is Harman, my name is DAVID! Think about it as you ask whose business it is.

The book has nothing whatsoever to do with ;proselytizing. But it's your choice. You are loosing a lot of interesting information with that attitude. Yes, Mr. Koenig is a Christian and speaks like one and lives like one just as you do as a Jew. He is a friend of Israel and a lobbyist for Israel. Does everyone have to think just like you to have some valid information?
37. Some Facts...
Yitzhak ,   TA   (04.08.12)
It is quite disconcerting to see even _prima facie_ *pro-Israel* posters use the terms 'settlers' and 'West Bank' as if they were real entities. They are not. It is legal, moral, historical and etymological nonsense to refer to 'Jewish settlers' in Judea & Samaria. Nor is there any such legal entity as 'the West Bank'. This name was coined by the perpetrators of an illegal and genocidal war against the Jewish people. Why, then, does that same people legitimize _post facto_ this war of aggression by employing the name the conquerors gave to the land they stole? And as for 'Palestinians' - have we become so weak that we acknowledge a phony people, invented out of whole cloth with one aim and one aim only: the destruction of Israel and the murder of all of her Jewish citizens in a sick and twisted desire to bring about the accomplishment of Hitler's Final Solution?
