36. Tell the activists to try protesting in the USA & see how>
Charles Kelly ,   London   (04.15.12)
See how really harshly they'll fare. They wouldnt last a nano second before they are arrested thrown in jail. What is this?? A world conspiracy toward tiny Israel The only democratic country in the whole ME These deluded trouble makers must think they can impose their unaccepted behaviour by entering into a country..ANY COUNTRY , not necessarily Israel.
37. Actually & typically at Haarez (of course) A senior
James T ,   doesn't matter   (04.15.12)
A senior officer gave one of the belligerent one A bash in the head. oohh wonderfull to see.
38. 19
zionist forever   (04.15.12)
TRUER WORDS WERE NEVER SPOKEN. If these activists are so desperate to go help the palestinians instead of trying to provoke Israel and get themselves deported before they even get through passport control the smart thing would be to go to Jordan & enter via Allenby. Fact is these people don't care about the arabs all they want to do is provoke Israel because they think its cool. Thirty years ago the cool thing was to carry out anti nuclear weapons stunts today its anti Israel, they are all a bunch of very sad people with very sad lives.
39. can anyone explain me who is right and leftist?
me   (04.15.12)
40. #19,38 why would Jordan allow them in? do you trust Arabs?
observer ,   Egypt   (04.15.12)
41. No. 20
Zaba ,   Calif.   (04.15.12)
Agreeing with no. 2, well put. I might be interested in sponsoring a planeload to one of those invigorating climates. Sounds like Sp(l)it got an excellent 6th grade geography education and is 100% correct: Israel is the only democracy in the entire Middle East. Now go study democracy.
42. What bothers me more,is the FACT ON HOW
Daniel K ,   UK   (04.15.12)
HOW THIS IS AFFECTING THE SECURITY SERVICES & THE AIR PORT PERSONNELL HAVING THE EXTRA BURDEN TO KEEP THING MOVING FOR THE CRISTIANS WHO ARE NOW RETURNING HOME AN ADDITIONAL & UNECESSARY BURDEN. THE LETTER WAS A GOOD WAY TO ACT. BUT LOST ON THE MINDLESS SOCALLED ACTIVISTS. God bless Israel..You seem to have no peace while the world moves on comfortably.
43. provoking agitators
jurgen ,   Great Britain   (04.15.12)
I am resetler from East Prussia.I remember that commie goverment used in early eighties the same ,,provoking agitators,, My friends are not leftist (most of antisemits are left wing, maybe because there not many people really right) but I have no agrumets to say somethin to this people You won every war with Arabs ,but these Palestinians Can't You simply afford thatt you make border waterproof and shot to their not too sophisticated rockets?I understand Your situation but for average family see at supper time in TV news seeing Palestinians with kalashnikovs against like war stars merkava panzer lokks like good gays fighting dark side of power
44. Flytilla flop
Spencer ,   Israel   (04.15.12)
Well done to the Israeli authorities, especially the police. Now we know the identities of a few that got through, lets arrest them and deport them.
45. Split # 20
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (04.15.12)
At least he didn't call anybody a tootles bully like some brainless idiot did earlier today. Know who I'm talking about Split?
46. # 42
Birdi ,   Israel   (04.15.12)
Daniel, extra security & staff were employed at the airport. The ''activists'' arrived at a different terminal to the one where the Christian pilgrims & others were leaving from. Ben Gurion Airport is functioning as usual.
47. # 39
Birdi ,   Israel   (04.15.12)
Easy question. Answer is; you are a leftist, I am a rightist. Understand now?
48. # 44
Birdi ,   Israel & proud of it   (04.15.12)
Spencer you forgot to add, once deported, never allowed to return. Yay!
49. #47,explanation or you speak as indigenous
me   (04.16.12)
what is the difference between rightist and leftist? why are they different? how are rightist and leftist thinking? how are the actions of rightist and leftist? who say you are rightist or leftist? i do not understand your yes and no,i need an explanation or i consider you as ignorant as i am about the foolish rightist and leftist
50. They didn't "escape scrutiny"
william ,   Israel   (04.16.12)
they were allowed in by the authorities as the token useful idiots.
51. #5 - Arabs have tried for 64 years
william ,   Israel   (04.16.12)
and this castle has only expanded with each of their failures. The Intl Community whom the "palestinians" hoped were their "night in shining armor" with a battering ram to breach the walls of Israel and destroy them, turned out instead to be only the Fat Friar Tuck.
52. Selective Human Rights
Kevin Ingram ,   Kingston,Jamaica   (04.15.12)
I just watched the movie sometimes in April that highlighted the massacre of 800,000 Rwandans by the army and fellow Rwandans. I now ask the questions where were these advocates of human rights when innocent tutsi school girls and babies were being hacked to death. Where were these paragons of virtue and morality when Tutsi women were being raped by Hutu soldiers and their milities. Let me tell you where they were they were busy attending rallies vilifying Israel, they were busy urging their churches and universities to boycott the only JewIsh state in the world. Where were they when the Sudanese armies were bombing the vililages of poor black Sudanese. Where were they when the savages of the Janjawweed milities placed the babies of southern sudanese in huts and set it alight. They were busy listening to BBC reporters telling lies about suffering in Gaza. Why dont they fly to Tibet, Homs or Timbuktu. Guess what they can,t because they will be shot. They only have strenght for tiny Israel . To Israel i say stand and see the diliverance of your GOD. Shalom
53. PEACE
JEFF ,   MIAMI/JERUSALEM   (04.15.12)
who is buying the tickets and organizing this anti israel passion play? arrest these haters for disturbing the peace
54. #20 - and no democracy allows everyone inside
william ,   Israel   (04.16.12)
Democracy is a form of governance reserved for citizens of that country, not the entire world. You claim to be objective and intelligent, and sadly, you're neither. I say "sadly" because everytime you think you weaken the planet.
55. Belgian television
Serge ,   Antwerp, Belgium   (04.16.12)
On the eveneing news they showed the "peacefull activists" who were not acting violently at the airport. what were they doing there, as they were notified ahead they would not be allowed on the plane ? 5 people were arrested for blocking passenger registration, one for theft.
56. #31 - well they do support terrorists...
william ,   Israel   (04.16.12)
and justify their war crimes against Israeli civilians, so indirectly they are terrorists. Just like like a person who aids in a crime but doesn't carry it out is still called a criminal. But one thing for sure, these people are not peacemakers.
57. Flytilla downgraded to bust-tilla.
(04.16.12)
58. Flytilla downgraded to bust-tilla. Good job Israel.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (04.16.12)
You kept the provocateurs out. You have control over your country. Don't give in to those aliens - not one mm for them.
59. Lucky
Jo ,   UK   (04.16.12)
If I made the policy I would make these attempts at disruption illegal - and each of these people would be welcomed to a Jail sentence of at least 6 months, or alternatively will be charged a compensation fee to the state reflecting the cost of disruption (and potential disruption), + the cost of our security services time in apprehending them.
60. To #52
Gili ,   Tel Aviv   (04.16.12)
Thanks for your kind greetings and true words. You're the type of guest that we wish to welcome to visit Israel. Please come one day soon. Shalom and blessings from Tel Aviv.
