The Catholic Church is even still calling the Protestant Reformation (my branch of LeFevre's) "The Great Heracy", and keeps to it's replacement theology no matter what. There are intellectuals within the church that hold different views yet they are not enough to make a difference & many even leave the order as a result. Those I fear the most however are the ME Bishops that stupidly see the Jews as bigger enemies than the Muslims. That should tell us all the foolishness and dangerous idealogy of the whole bunch.

It might be helpful to stick to the facts here. The Society is considered schismatic by the Church for dozens of reasons. All of these will have to be abandoned before they are allowed back in. Petrucci, by calling Judaism a "false religion" merely shows his general anti-Christian and specifically anti-Christ beliefs. Why? Because Jesus himself was a Jew. I think the Vatican has it's own agenda; always has. If called on it, the Pope would use love-bomb reasoning to rationalize signing a peace treaty with the radical sects of the church. The Jews are the only nation to be declared a nation when living outside their homeland. Pharoah did this in Egypt in biblical times. At that moment the Jews became both members of a faith,Judaism, and were recognised as the People of Israel. As the 'chosen' people the Jews were given not superority but responsibility to set an example to the people of the world. It did not give them some automatic excellence as many Jew haters imply. How sad that probably the most passive religion is abused by other religions, false or otherwise, such as Christianity and the greatest enemy, of all societies, Islam, a so called religion that breeds hatred universally.
