I am of the same opinion-Every citizen who reaches the age of 18 should serve his country to the best of his or her ability- without exception. something that should have been done ages ago.

If by "Arab Jews" you mean those Jews who originally came from the Middle East and North Africa, and who, by the way, make up half of Israel's population, they already serve in the military...and always have. Why would you think otherwise?

Israeli arabs have only benefits from the country they hate ,.You can see their hate in everyday events,students that benefit the system but show a permanent hatred face,others that speak only arabic when Jews are present,etc. Being drafted,even for national service they will prefer to leave the country in thousands and this will reduce their numbers by much. maybe it s a solution,thought for our politicians!
