External: -Enemies everywhere (except Cyprus and maybe Jordan) -EU turning into Eurabia -US getting less and less (economic and political) power Internal: -Ultra-Orthodox having the highest birth rate in the whole country (7-8 children in average) -Israeli Arabs and Palestinians having a high birth rate too, while the secular birth rate is low -a split-up government which is constantly struggling with each other If demographics doesn't change and if the government doesn't do anything to integrate the Orthodox into the society (cutting the welfare, making compulsory school curriculum), then Israel will have a very depressing future. An Israel run by Ultra-Orthodox will make the majority of secular and moderate Israelis emigrate. And then I ask you: who will work? Who will pay taxes? Who will serve in the IDF?
