What most, if not all the talk-backers either dont know, or fail to understand, is the primitive nature of the EMP. The electromagnetic pulse. Iran knows it doesn't need a full scale nuke to destroy large swaths of territory or sophisticated US electronics, it merely has to pop off a small nuke device, in relatively low atmosphere, and let the electronics not hardened for such an attack fry themselves. It will then blitzkrieg the surrounding areas. What Iran doesn't know, is that it's old hat, and we are prepared for it in many ways with redundant systems and countermeasures. Oh yeah, and add the fact it will fry Iran's systems too, then, it's whoever has the advanced tech that will destroy the other. I aint too worried about Iran vis Israel or US tech. If Iran EVER actually threatens the continental US, there will be a mass exodus of newly recruited volunteers and veterans, trained and serious combat forces, with the best US tech, ready to fight hand to hand against them if necessary.
