Islam has clear passages in the Quran that talk about "the people of the book" which includes Jews and Christians and talks about treating them respectfully. What you are describing, in this article, is Islamism which is a specific form of Islam NOT the entire religion. Yes, we do all pray to the One infinite Creator of us all. There is only One G-d. However, there are some very different u understandings of what G-d requires from us in order to come closer to Him. Don't confuse the different religions with there being separate "gods". And unfortunately there are some teachings in some religions that claim that their particular understanding is right and the others are wrong. This can cause a great deal of unnecessary suffering when such people seek to impose their own views on others who do not agree with them. For Jews, Judaism is the path to G-d, but no observant Jew would ever dream of suggesting to a non-Jew that he should convert to Judaism. Quite the contrary: Jews respect the fact that there are various paths to G-d and that the reality of the infinite Creator is way beyond all our attempts to understand or to constrain Him in any way.
