31. G-d gave this land to the Jews
ecr   (05.01.12)
act like a Jew and it's yours also.
32. RELIEVE AND JUSTICE
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (05.01.12)
Hopefully we will see many more Tsippis leaving the knesset, the ones that represent the failed secular Zionist movement. She is another example of failed statehood and weird alien values. And as a final salute she had to attack the haredim one more time on her way out. May we witness the demise of Kadima soon and all the other bad Israeli Zionist rubbish, who never represented the Jewish people, only there own convoluted and twisted Socialist Atheist agenda.
33. livni could have been
milson   (05.01.12)
livni could have been someone if she had not hooked herself toolmert. she wasn't a coward but she tied herself to olmert, an absolute fearful coward who would cut israel in half to stop the blood. and she could not understand geographic realities, simply could not appreciate defensible borders which israel has to have in order to survive. it cannot share its security with anyone, least of all abbas, otherwise the holocaust's lessons are pointless. and now livni leaves being a poor sport cause she lost to mofaz. she will forever be know as olmert in a dress.
34. The Israeli Public
Michael ,   Haifa   (05.01.12)
Livni claims: "The Israeli public deserves more from their leaders" Quite to the contrary, the Israeli public deserves exactly what it gets, for voting time after time for the same cynical, incompetent opportunists.
35. most corrupt party in israel's history
david ,   new york   (05.01.12)
36. Sorry to see her go
Hannah ,   Karmiel   (05.01.12)
I am genuinely sorry that such a fine female politician steps down. It is a loss for all of us. For those who only have cheap shots to offer, why don't you put yourself forward in the selfless service for the public good, if we are to believe you, you have all the answers? If we are to believe the news, there will soon be elections in Israel, it would be very nice if you would present yourselves as candidates and put up with the public scrutiny and need to negotiate viable solutions which inevitably follows dedication to public service.
37. who made a buying offer?
good riddance ,   world   (05.01.12)
she didnt sell??? so she was in the wrong market and she is bluffing good riddance
38. Livni should be indicted for corruption.
Nora Tel Aviv   (05.01.12)
39. Spoken like a true Leftist
Paul ,   Jerusalem   (05.01.12)
who reacts to antisemitism, not by disgust and anger at the perverse haters, but by hating Jews who believe in being Jewish.
40. always the haredim
mike north ,   karmiel israel   (05.01.12)
Why ,when someone falls or is found to be a little disgraced, the first thing they do is blame the haredim. The haredim have created their own parties to look after their interests just like all the other parties do for THEIR so called interests be it social or political. We are always going on about being a democracy and fair elections-if the haredi have their clout when it comes to final setups-kol hakavod to their power-but just because you don't understand their lifestyle or it interferes with your selfish lifestyle ,don't carry on like babies who can't get their own way.Get a life!!!!
41. too bad
Ethan ,   Eilat   (05.01.12)
She was one with a conscience. I'd like to quit my job and get full salary like her though
42. "Responsibility and hope"
Erich   (05.01.12)
Thus speaks a failed politician about her failed party, a party born in sin and now dying an agonizingly slow death. Kadima's real accomplishments? The poorly conceived and implemented disengagement from Gaza, the failed adventure in Lebanon and the most corrupt PM in the history of our state. And then Livni herself, a perennially pouting opportunist unable to expound an original idea of her own. She somehow believed that her politics of pouting would give her the premiership she was entitled to. No matter, I'm sure she will soon find her way to some Soros-funded Leftist think tank where she will have ample time and money to continue her pouting and her absence of any real ideas.
43. Thanks she didnot sell Israel to the Enemies
Tom ,   Lagos , Nigeria   (05.01.12)
No one can succeed by trading the truth for lies and liberalism. Livin is a great woman but she miss it when she began to play to the tune of the west and Israel enemies. Sharon was a good Guy still he did the same thing. Today sharon only remember for his Eviction of jews from their homeland. Israel must remain strong and not submit to rubbish liberal politics. If Tizipi Had stick to zionist Principles she would have remain on the Top of Israel politics. Any away thank Goodness she didnot sell the country to thew enemies. Byyyeeee Tzipii lady
45. 17 Da Urban Poet: Golda saved Israel in the 1973 war
Rivkah   (05.01.12)
by persuading US President Nixon to help Israel which he did. If he had not done that, there would not be an Israel today. Golda was suicidal on the phone to him because she knew Israel could be destroyed in America did not intervene and was about to kill herself if she could not protect the nation by persuading Richard Nixon to put American military muscle at her command. You have no idea how great a leader she was to have that kind of favor with HaShem to avert the deaths of millions of Israelis instead of thousands.
46. "Chometz Ben Yayin"
Manya Shochet ,   Israel   (05.01.12)
--er, *bat* yayin...
47. Silly Tzipi
ed ,   milwaukeee, wisc.   (05.01.12)
This awful woman cared for nothing so much as her personal ambition. Now that it has been blunted, the country can go to hell as far as she is concerned. Thank heaven she's gone for good.
48. "not sorry I didn’t sell country to haredim"
William ,   Israel   (05.01.12)
Rather, she chose to sell it to the "Palestinians" and their supporters. Which one is worse?
49. Livni's offer to Haredi parties
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (05.01.12)
According to an article in today's Arutz Sheva, Livni offered larger stipends for yeshiva students than did Netanyahu in a bid to get the Haredi parties to join her coalition.
