Really sad what's become of the Israel I once knew from the 1970s. The PA just pockets the gestures and concessions from Israel and gives nothing in return.

but have yet to hear "Good Will gestures to Israel". So far, the only thing Abbas has given Israel is hate-mail delivered by one of his trolls demanding more and more. When Abbas starts producing a tit-for-tat concessions, then he'll become credible in Israel's eyes.

It's the same false sense of security Israeli commanders were lulled in after the 1967 War believing Arabs would never attack again, despite King Hussein's warning in 1972. Only when Israel is in peril does it react with a strong victory, and sadly, it may have to happen again because the politicians are lulled to sleep, but at the expense of many civilian lives.
