Why doesn't Israel start by giving back land to the Palestinians. You can start by re-drawing the border around Umm Al Fahm- simply by moving the border demarcation a few miles to the west, Um Al fahm will be back in Palestine, the world will be happy to see that Israel has withdrawn from Palestine and ALL the population of Umm Al Fahm can enjoy the free benefits of UNRAW.

No one's DENYING the Nakba, that it was a catastrophe for the Palestinian 'people' (unlike how many Arabs deny that the Holocaust ever happened). It is true that many families suffered, losing their property, and many of whom were probably innocent. The fact remains that many Arabs in Israel were complicit in fighting against the nascent Jewish state and their expulsion was justified in the face of war against the Arab states. The Palestinians are justified in observing Nakba day if they want, it just should be forbidden for institutions like TAU to do it, and they sure shouldn't throw stones as part of the protest. If you read the article from last week on ynet, you will see that many of the Palestinian protestors on the TAU campus decry Israeli apartheid, yet they are studying at an elite Israeli university.
