There is ample proof. Just look at the creation of the UNWRA. The requirement of being a refugee was a mere two years in the Mandate, unlike the legal definition in the Geneva Convention of having lived in that location all their life. Have you ever wondered why just two years? Bet not - because according to the UN - over 80% of the 'refugees' were born elsewhere and moved to the Mandate territories post World War 2. That's right over 80% of the so-called 'refugees' weren't even residents let alone citizens. Of those that left only 99.9% of them did not owe a single square millimeter of land - again that is from the British and the UN. Does that qualify as evidence. And yes when the Jews started buying the land over 91% of it had no people whatsoever, that too is a fact according to the records of the Ottoman Empire, British Mandate, League of Nations and the UN.
