I have never seen any country (except Scandinavia) with such horrible overpriced beer prices like Israel! 25-30 NIS for 0.5 l (already in underaverage coffee/restaurant places). That's really way too much. And now they want to increase it even more.

Co-operations! create your own co-operation and contact the companies from abroad and bring your own damn beer (same brands, just created else where) and it will cost you tons less...

I know a manager who works for Coca Cola Israel personally and she's told me time and time again that there are plenty of 3rd party importers that import and sell the same locally produced licensed beers (Heineken, Carlsberg, Tuborg, etc.) for much less. These bars/cafes/restaurants need to start buying from them. Honestly, I'd rather have an authentic, original Heineken from Holland anyway instead of local!
