4. Great idea..'Stamp of Quality'
David ,   Shiloh Israel   (05.29.12)
What an innovative idea! We should have an advertising campaign to go along with this trend. Rather than being defeated, we should turn it round demonstrating excellence of choice. Just like this wonderful comment brought to you courtesy of Shiloh...Heart of the Shomron!
5. The Logic of Boycotts and Labelling
Adam Neira ,   Paris, France   (05.29.12)
The management of Migros are over politicising the situation. They will just confuse their customers. A good retailer will adopt the correct philosophical stance re. The products it stocks on behalf of its customers. Call this a little bit of retail paternalism. Re. boycotts and sanctions...We need more connection and trust building right now not less. The model for the Holy Land and region is one of trade and economic co-operation. So boycotting one section of the area may actually backfire on other areas, such is the interconnectedness of things. It is all about perspective. The BDS people see the universe as win/lose so rationalise their boycott campaigns as of helping the Palestinians when this is not the truth.
6. Products
Nice Bloke ,   Geneva   (05.29.12)
Thanks, I'll be seeking to buy these products before any others - especially fruit and veg from Judea and Samaria. The Avocado's are gorgeous and have a lovely taste. The only productivity we get from the Palestinians are suicide bombers and violence. They had their chance and blew it.
7. Thank you, Migros
Karl ,   Zurich   (05.29.12)
Now I'll have an easier time avoiding the taint of the Khazar occupiers. The Mediterranean awaits you, Khazars.
8. Of course the guy in the pic is an Arab...
Not surprising....   (05.29.12)
The media is destroying this country.
9. BOYCOTT that ROTTEN Swiss cheese,
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (05.29.12)
it is full of holes !
10. I prefer Migron over Migros !!!!

11. Good move!
Vogelgryff ,   Geneva, Switzerland   (05.29.12)
N°3 & n°6: exactly! Good way to help us support Israel. Looking forward to getting my hand on some mangoes - the ones coming from South America are tasteless.
12. Will they also label Syrian products?
Jew ,   JewLandia   (05.29.12)
If they label Syrian products then their convictions are believable. If they don't then they are just another bunch of Anti-Israel anti-Semites on the local blah blah bus!
13. The Germans made us put a "J' in our passports back then....
Efraim ,   in virginia   (05.29.12)
Nothing new here. A yellow star, a big "J", seen it all..
14. Boycott Switzerland: No More Knives or Watches

15. all swiss products banks labelled nazi produced stolen goods

16. typical Ynet readers
Safadi ,   Safad   (05.29.12)
i have to wonder: why you mock this move of MIGROS? what do you have to fear? dont you claim that you are the only democratic, multi cultural, tolerant state, which is surrounded by terrorist canibals who are anti semites? there is no occupation because god and so on...so according your logic: people will BUY your products ;)
17. We should turn this around as a chance to a "buycot
tiki ,   belgium   (05.29.12)
Now we can buy the Israeli products because we know where they come from. We can buy Israeli dried figs & dates from Israel and not from IRAN. Nuts from Israel and not from TURKEY. First class Israeli cosmetics from the Dead Sea and not minor JORDANIAN produce. Let's turn this 'boycot into a 'buycot! A frenzy of Israeli (greater Israel) products. Let's make the shops stock up in all Israeli products. It's good for retail & consumer....and the Arab Palestinian worker (this little detail hasn't crossed the anti-Israel hypocritical mind)!
18. DOWN with Migros and up with Migron !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (05.29.12)

19. ms monika weibel Your So Full Of
(05.29.12)
Crap your eyes are Brown. Anyways there will be more Israeli products for normal people to buy. For you your information there is No Distinction between Israel and disputed Land, Jersulaem Has Been The Eternal Capital for over 3000yrs, gaza, Judea and Samaria also Have ways Been Jewish. You just keep bowing to your arabs they Love the attention.
20. To No. 16
New Yorker ,   U.S.A.   (05.29.12)
The logic here is simple: people will do any despicably stupid and pathetically cowardly thing lest they are left behind in the "global movement" against this or that, but ever so selective in their risk-free vocal protests as to come off unharmed in their comfortable "struggle" for some universal justice but not the other. What's more, this "struggle" has to look cool and fashionable and a great sacrifice, only without really sacrificing too much of one's comfort.
21. I wish USA would label them too...
ME ,   USA   (05.30.12)
I would like to buy these products, but am too lazy to read all the print. Such labels would make it MUCH easier for me to identify them for purchase.
22. #6.... to quote you...(you made mistake.)
ME ,   USA   (05.30.12)
"The only productivity we get from the Palestinians are suicide bombers and violence." You forgot to add LIES to the list. Thank you.
23. That bastion of neutrality strikes again
Carl ,   USA   (05.30.12)
So they don't support a boycott, but they will do all in their power to facilitate boycotters. A distinction without much difference, as they say.
24. To No. 16 - on buying
New Yorker ,   U.S.A.   (05.30.12)
The Swiss - surprisingly - made no bones about buying assets of those Jews sent to their death during WWII, including from the countries occupied by the nazi Germany. Interestingly enough, the fact of occupation did not figure large in the contemporary swiss psyche of the time. Somehow they were only too happy to avail themselves just as the rest of the European standard bearers did (who now tend to boycot all things Jewish) of the windfall resulting from the mass murder and deprivation of the millions of European Jews. What happened now? Has the European collective suddenly found "morality" at the bottom of their rusty soul and now am being bothered by something? Something that was supposed to be done with and away long time ago?
25. No punishment again
Joe Sombrero ,   Usa   (05.30.12)
Again Bibi does nothing Israel should in my opinion as a policy unleash the Flame Virus on companies and countries that boycott Israel or settlements.
26. Sure,
Ralph Haglund ,   Sweden   (05.30.12)
the Palestine groups of Sweden have a list of Israeli products, so everyone who wants quality goes there to look. Also the Arabs in Judea/Samaria buy Israeli products when available. Many "israeli" products to EU are produced by arabs and transported with Israeli shipments from Judea/Samaria/Gaza of course, cheaper and people trust them more that way.
27. #16 Safadi, I presume you are an Arab citizen of Israel
Carl ,   USA   (05.30.12)
You have all the benefits of citizenship yet you use language that places you "outside." How about trying your luck in Gaza or maybe Syria instead of Safad? Then you will long for a return to the democratic, multi-cultural and tolerant state of Israel.
28. The usual childish response from the ynet bloggers
Elias   (05.30.12)
Maybe they've only ever read the Israeli version of International Law and the Geneva Conventions. No worries guys, when all the world requires produce from the illegal settlements to be labeled accordingly, then if you only buy their produce you might live a pretty restrictive lifestyle - put your money where your mouth is guys, the rest of the world don't give a toss.
29. #18, WE ALL support Migron !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (05.30.12)
http://www.yeshuv.org/mission/save-migron
30. #16 safadi - a good point...
solomon ,   bklyn   (05.30.12)
...because Israel IS the only democratic, multi cultural, tolerant state, which is surrounded by terrorists (they were never called canibals) who are anti semites and loudly declare their goal of killing the Jews. Right again: there is no occupation. Read some history, then post. But I guarantee you won't like what you read.
