1. food for conspiracy theorists
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (06.03.12)
If this incredible story is true, it means that Dr. Hiss is both immoral and criminal. This will lend credence to people who say that the Rabin autopsy, performed by the same Hiss, was falsified to hide the truth. Let's hope that Hiss is cleared of all wrong-doing.

5. what is the issue here?
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (06.03.12)
Is it forbidden to bury body parts in a mass grave? Why? Is it a Jewish halachic issue or a state law issue. Let us clear the issue before we start slinging the mud so we know where we stand.

Governments are the real criminals of all societys, bring on the revolution.
7. Just Some Thoughts
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (06.03.12)
While I understand that all body parts should be labeled out of respect for the dead (this is sometimes not done at some medical schools here in the USA as well, since many bodies come from city morgues and are "John" and Jane Doe's") But to sue whoever they plan to sue seems silly at best. How was anybody harmed...financially or emotionally...by this? Frankly it sounds like BS. Heck nobody even knew it happened until recently, nobody suffered any financial loss, nor could they have been emotionally harmed since they didn't know, right? Believe me I understand the moral implications, I think the people responsible for not tracking the body parts should be punished (although I couldn't say how that would be done, I have no idea about the penalties for such a thing).
8. Hiss
chava ,   yerushalayim   (06.03.12)
How old is Hiss? When will it be time for him to retire?
9. Hiss has escaped justice for years
Shalom Hartman   (06.04.12)
Hiss's name has been thrown around in connection to his evil doings for many years. How has he managed to escape justice, and why do people believe his "findings" in relation to Yitzchak Rabin? the man is a criminal and should be tried as one.
10. #7 You are unfamiliar with Jewish burial practices, Mark.
Roman ,   Lod, Israel   (06.04.12)
Judaism stipulates that all body parts be buried in the grave. We also collect the *blood*, if at all possible. What happened here was that the pathological center lied to bereaved relatives, without a care in the world for their desires and beliefs on the matter. They believe the center caused them harm in this - harm that perhaps only became public when it was revealed (regarding emotional harm - the fact that it did not exist before the facts became public does not make it any less harm. In effect, lies were used to buffer that emotional harm away in the name of illegal and immoral practices). This isn't the first time. This pathological center, under Dr. Hiss, has been doing whatever it wanted with dead bodies brought to it for a long, long time. It's a norm. A bad norm. A norm that says "I know better than everyone, because I'm a doctor and a scientist, so there."
