rm ,   Amsterdam NL   (06.04.12)
what is? I think it's time Israeli's start asking themselves if these are the politicians they want....
32. lol
itay   (06.04.12)
33. How about all the American Jews.....
David ,   New York, USA   (06.04.12)
who agreed with this disgusting racist article make aliyah at once and we'll let some of these poor Sudanese who are only looking for work in. How Jews of all people can treat people like scum is mind boggling beyond words.
34. Israel Obviously Doesn't Dream in Black and White
Golden Dome ,   Washington, USA   (06.04.12)
Israel wanted cheap labor without contributing to Palestinian employment opportunities. Now those same workers need something back from Israel
35. Your ruining our dream...
Mark Wiseman ,   Detroit   (06.04.12)
...of a free lunch. The Shas community has an age old tradition of milking the State of Israel for hundreds of millions of shekels each election cycle by joining whichever government is in power, regardless of ideology, as long as they pay. These Sudanese are competing for the charitable tax money in Israel and they don't like it. It's time to cut off Shas, and give charity to the really needy. Israel would be better off with Sudanese who are willing to work, and probably serve in the army if given the opportunity, than Shasniks, who are a community of good-for-nothing leeches.
36. living in a theoretical world
Mark Wiseman ,   Detroit USA   (06.04.12)
Your views sound like those of many countries during WW2. How can we take in the Jews? They are not our problem. We have our own issues to deal with. If being Jewish means acting like everyone else, the world doesn't need Jews.
37. It is a mistery why those Africans don t go in muslim nation
Anna M Sedda ,   Rome-Italy   (06.04.12)
The muslim Nations hare in need of workers and Saudy Arabia has pleanty of free land to' build home; they pay great wages .So the question is why all this Africans are send in Israel with the dream that will never happend...Beside that,in the pictures they look arrogant and think the world owns them something...The goverment of sudan take care of them, not Israel.Israel has to' take care of the Jews,first...
38. Learn to differentiate between...
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (06.04.12)
Refugees seeking asylum and economic migrants seeking work. I have no problem with absorbing a number of genuine refugees compatible to the country's ability to do so, but do have a problem with economic migrants simply looking to make more money than they can elsewhere. I also want our government to learn to differentiate between the two. Shas was established to combat the racism of the Ashkenazi religious parties and now has become just as racist at they are. Apparently the only dark-skinned people they approve of are their own voters.
39. And which Israeli wants to do their work?
Eli ,   Nahariya   (06.04.12)
Come on now, they are doing "bottom of the rung" work. Have you ever looked in at the kitchens of the hotels where they are working? Are they taking jobs from you that you are willing to do? If they are, you're right, get rid of them. And if they are breaking the law, then the police are responsible for maintaining the peace. Focusing on what really amounts to a non-issue diverts our nation's attention for more serious matters.
40. ""This is not about racism"
TC   (06.04.12)
Yes it is indeed. Shas has been complaining for so many years about racism on the Sephardim from the Ashkenazim: We now see the result, simply brilliant.
41. Ruining my dream
jay abouaf ,   Jaffa, Israel   (06.04.12)
I made Aliya 3 years ago from Los Angeles. These racists - Yishai, Regev, Danon, and the people that follow their words - are ruining my dream. And Barak and the other appeasing racists that wish to expel Jews from Judea Samaria and give [it] to the fascist Palestinians - are ruining my dream.
42. A disgrace to the Torah
jay abouaf ,   Jaffa, Israel   (06.04.12)
This rabbi is a disgrace to our Torah
43. Noachide Laws
Zivron   (06.04.12)
Those Eritreans and Sudanese that have the capacity to cleave to the laws of Noah ought be allowed to stay.IDF psychiatrists and psychologists social and youth workers can devise tests. Those incapable ought return but as security and crime risks need detention facilities.
44. Shas to Sudanese:it's best,we part,
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (06.04.12)
Sudanese to shas :Yes, it's best,we part,we stay,you go.
45. # 31 rm ! Like everyvhere else,i am not
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (06.04.12)
sure whether the people in Israel have the right politicians, but i am sure about one thing, the people in Israel don't want an Army of drunkards, rapists, invading their country.
46. #30 Sarah B
Malone ,   hfx, Canada   (06.05.12)
I have always admired your posts, but this one touches home base... Do your views apply to African Americans and/or African Canadians of which I am one?
47. Israel: diversity is your strength!
Rev. Shim Benguigui ,   Jacksonville Florida   (06.06.12)
When will my folk learn to embrace their fellow man? We are all of this earth, put here by G-D to prosper, love, and above all, TOLERATE. I am donating to Kadima, they must gain ground to light the path for all!
48. Undocumented Israelis
Ari Eitan ,   Palm Springs USA   (06.07.12)
These Sudanese are simply undocumented Israelis. They are in Israel to do the jobs that Israelis wont do. Let them pay a small fine for crossing the border illegally and then gain Israeli citizenship so that these African-Israelis can contribute their skills, labor, and culture to the melting pot of Israeli society. We need to celibrate diversity, and welcome our african neighbors to share in our diverse society.
