You are attempting to confuse them with the facts. Don't you know us Jews are EVIL and must be destroyed. Never mind the fact that we have never been the aggressor, nor the fact that we are a place of refuge among the intolerant, nor that we have equal rights for all our citizens. Yes we too have bigots and criminals and all the baggage that goes with being a nation, but on the whole we are better than any European country in the area of human rights. Those are mere facts and dealing with racists that doesn't matter.
32. Hey fool, it is because Jews were always
Isac   (06.05.12)
the victims. It started with the Egypitians, continued with Spain, Germany and other parts of Europe in the Middle Ages continued further by limiting the rights of Jews until after WW 2. Than of course there was the Holocaust were entire Europe seeked to destroy all Jews living. So get yourself a life and don't complain about us since you don't want to see us live.
33. Brother, you are right on!
Isac   (06.05.12)
I myself lived in the 70's in Germany. It is in their genes. It is entire Europe. Don't trust Europe folks, since they don't want to have any Jews living on this planet.
34. The two issues must be separated
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (06.05.12)
It is true that many European nation focus too much on Israel in its rhetoric. And also that this criticism many times is unfair biased. However, the calls for boycotts of goods produced in settlements are relevant and justified. It has been part European foreign policy for decades, and has nothing to do with anti-semitism or anti-Israel. It's simply a matter of respecting international law.

You said 30 percent of the right hate Jews. What about the left wing?? Is it much more and if so how much. In the USA, about 90 percent of the Right is strong supporters of Israel. The left wing in the USA is about 50-50 right now.

i do not think the world "daily" means what you think it means. have you thought about looking up the definition in a dictionary? just a thought...it would make you seem less stupid if you did that research before-hand.
39. Gunnar #34 please enlighten me
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (06.05.12)
You state "calls for boycotts of goods produced in settlements are relevant and justified" why? "It's simply a matter of respecting international law." Is that so - then perhaps you can produce a single treaty or law that states that the land belongs to the Arabs right? What is it? How does this 'law' supersede the UN Charter, San Remo Treaty and the Mandate for Palestine? All of which state without equivocation that Jews have the RIGHT to settle all land west of the Jordan River. Please inform us where this fantastic law is written so we can read it ourselves. That is real international law and you claim to respect international law, let's see you put it into practice.

“known worldwide” is code for your wishful thinking. BTW, the “harassment” is in answer to terrorism, murder, attacks, etc. It helps keep Israelis, both Jews and arabs, safe. No apologies.
41. #39 UN Reolution 181 from...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (06.05.12)
...from 1948 when it was decided by the United Nations (with complete unanimity in the Security Council) that the British Mandate Palestine was to be divided into one Jewish and one Arab state. The West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem went to the Palestinians Israel accepted ths. The Arabs didn't. Then there is resolution 242 from 1967, where Israel was asked to withdraw to pre-war borders. Also, the Oslo Treaty from 1993, in which Israel accepted to to abide by international law, i. e. withdraw to the pre-1967 borders.
42. Terrible haters
Johan ,   the Netherlands   (06.05.12)
of the people of Israel live here in Europe. While acting nice and using politically 'correct' words, they in fact call up for the destruction of Israel. They will fail for Hashem Himself will protect His people.

Your reference to international law reminds me of the international law that says a blockade for purposes of examining cargoes for weapons is illegal as well as the international law that states that stopping a ship in international waters that attempts to break a blockade is illegal. Hint: none of the above referenced "laws" exist. In fact the opposite is true: creating a blockade is legal if procedures are followed, and it is legal (in fact, preferred) that ships be stopped in international waters and not in territorial waters.
45. A message from G-d for the haters
Maurice ,   Los Angeles, USA   (06.05.12)
I will curse those who curse Israel. It is already happening. The Muslims will overwhelm Europe in the next 10 to 20 years and you will still blame the Jews for it. LOL.
46. To #34
Maurice ,   Los Angeles, USA   (06.05.12)
Please show me the International law that Israel is violating. In Truth, the west bank is not defined as occupied territory but as disputed territory. This is a major distinction. That shows the ignorance of most Europeans when it comes to this conflict. They only hear one side and don't bother with the truth.

Let us not forget the Anglo-American Convention of 1924 which permits legalised Jewish settlement of all of the land west of the Jordan river as far as the Mediterranean sea. This convention takes priority over all subsequent agreements and treaties and has no statute of limitations. This convention defines the legality of settlements in Judea and Samaria! End
48. Gunnar..

Boycotts of "settlement products" are just as justified as was the boycott of jewish shops, products etc in pre-war Germany. See?
49. As long as we have leftist ...
Beary White ,   Norway   (06.06.12)
and islamic followers there will always be some idiots with blind eyes, like we have in Norway. If you do not play with the leftist, you are a racist. The last example; The ABB trial in Norway.: The attorney for the victims and the judges boycotted the ABB witness with no questions. The trial is like the ones usually held in Iran. Looks like the judge is only letting the leftist political rightness agenda through. How can there be a fair trial without questioning ABBs witness' ?? Even beeing a killer he is present in a biased court of law in the leftist controlled Norway. The "normal" norwegians would have no problem with a death sentence, but the political leftist wants to play with him like cat and a mouse in a charade, which is even worse than Iran...before he is put away...

The problem is Kurt Waldheimer's disease: You forget you or your predecessors were Nazi's!
51. Gunnar #41 are you sure you want UNGA 181?
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (06.06.12)
First - UN General Assembly Resolutions are RECOMMENDATIONS and the UN Security Council did not say anything whatsoever. So you have based everything on a RECOMMENDATION. Recommendations are not international laws. Second - UNGA 181 violates Article 80 - UN Charter, Article 5 Mandate for Palestine, Article 5 San Remo Treaty. Those are international laws - UNGA 181 is not and is illegal. UNSC 242 does not refer to borders. So international law states that the borders are the Jordan River. Yes Israel agreed to abide by international law. You might want to consult actual laws, and not false ones. The pre-1967 borders are the Jordan River - that is what the laws state.
52. No Real Excuses

There always be people who hate in Yugoslavia in Africa in Jewish israel the Bogey Left and Settlers amongst the Palestinians the nationalist secular Baath versus the Islamists in particular the Salafi.

You hit the nail on the head. Israelis are too full of themselves to see themselves for what they are........horrible!
54. #28 Neither will the jews

55. #10. Jewish leftists are the biggest problem.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.06.12)
#10. You note that Abraham Burg recently called for a boycott against Israel and that Israeli and ex-Israeli leftists egg on European Jew haters. As you note, Jewish leftists are the biggest problem of all. Far worse than European Jew haters. Let's look at the record. Who is responsible for the Oslo Disaster? Leftist Jews or Europeans. Who is responsible for the Disengagement Disaster? Leftist Jews or Europeans. Who campaigns to free murderous Arab terrorists held in Israel? Leftist Jew or Europeans. One could go on and on in this vein.
56. #46 Who's the ignorant one?
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (06.06.12)
"Disputed areas"!?!?! Even the Likud party has given up on that phrase, knowing how absolutely ridiculous it sounds. All effort is now directed at explaining to the world WHY the occupation is necessary. "National suicide", "Rockets on our cities", "Terrorists closer to our major cities". Heard it before? NO ONE from the official Israel uses the "It's our land" mantra anymore. Btw, if I had bought into just one side, as you claim, then I would never even suggest a two-state solution, just go on about "illegal Jewish state" jada jada jada..... Now don't be such a typical ignorant American, please
57. #41 gunnar
solomon ,   bklyn   (06.06.12)
Please quote chapter and verse whereby Israel agreed to withdraw to the 1948 (aka pre-1967) borders. The accords noted withdrawal from captured territories, NOT "the" captured territories NOR "all" captured territories. Your post is only your wishful thinking; your own fairy tale. Sorry, won't wash.
58. To Gunnar #34.
Steven ,   Rockville. MD, USA   (06.06.12)
Where was their respect of their international laws, during the killing of 6 million Jews, and closing the borders before the refugees? Gunnar, do you want to try another” justification”? I bet you do not have another one. The same goes for the boycott, those that support it, are all anti-Semitic Nazi trash. Where do you want to belong is entirely your choice. I presume you and the supporters of BDS do boycott products from Chine as well, If not, you are just a bunch of hypocrites.
