Netanyahu's new friends on the Left have been condemning him for years as a liar. His defense of his desire to destroy Jewish homes shows that the Left was correct. Netanyahu bleats that "Israel is a law abiding democracy". Where was the law when Netanyahu turned over land to Arab squatters? Where is the law when illegal Arab homes are left standing? Where is the law when Jews are forbidden to pray on the Temple Mount despite High Court orders? Where is the law when Jews are forbidden to enter Arab villages?

The UN charter is obligated to the league of nations mandate to encourage the settlement of Jews west of the Jordan river in order to re constitute the Jewish homeland. All those who seek restrictions to Jewish immigration and settlement of those lands are contravening the UN charter and rights of Jews. This is a right of global Jews and not just Israeli Jews and this right pre-dates the state of Israel. I have never heard of this right being rescinded or replaced, only ignored and violated.
