2. soon mushroom clouds over Tel-Aviv
(06.08.12)
Aha...and when mushroom clouds rise over Tel-Aviv & Israel, Obama will still be talking of sanctions & "all options are on the table". Iran is going full steam ahead with enrichment & nuke work. Only a military attack will have an impact. Israel should go it alone as America wont do anything except emitting hot-air.
3. destroying syria
Real vision ,   usa   (06.08.12)

5. Where is the the UN?
Serge ,   New York, US   (06.08.12)
Where is the whole world? Why the world is in silence? Maybe they accepted the fact that arab barbarism as is norm and that israeli humanism is a norm as well. That's why if a terrorist is killed by israelis then the whole world cries, but if the arabs kill thousands of their own people nobody say anything. So, the world will have to understand that if Israel takes preventive measures against its enemies, because if they can kill thousands of their own people then they won't hesistate to eliminate the whole state of Israel in the name of ALA, including the palestinians and the israeli arabs as well!!!
6. Unbelievable
Keren, IL-BR   (06.08.12)
And still the left is focusing its attention in Israel. Hundres are being killed, gased, and the world does nothing. Where is the Human Rights Commission and the NGOs

PETER SM ,   AUSTRALIA   (06.08.12)
If this is what they do to their brothers imagine what they would do to Jews if they thought they could get away with it. Shame fellow travellers don't think beyond slogans.
11. Chemical Weapons from Iraq . . .
Neshi ,   SF CA   (06.08.12)
Yes Sean, they do have one of the largest chemical weapons caches in the world ! And, where did it come from . . . . well when Saddam was busy getting rid of all those WMD's before the UN Nuclear Agency came in to inspect them, he generously gave Syria a huge lot of nice bombs and chemicals and other destructive agents to kill their own people with.

Actually, mass murder of innocent civilians is an Arab tradition. History says as much. Sadly, standing by and watching innocent civilians die is a Western tradition as well. The shades of six million Jews can testify to that. Is the West waiting for Israel to do their work for them? The big question would be "why?" An ersatz "Palestinian" attempts to kill an Israeli Jew, and is killed in the process, and the world is up in arms. Where is the world when babies are dying horrible deaths in Syria? Ahhh. I understand. Doing EXACTLY what it did when six million Jews -- including two million children -- died at the hands of the Nazis. Doesn't say much for the world, does it? Is the entire despicable so-called "community of nations" waiting for Israel to do their job for them? The international community created the monster that is Assad. Deal with it. Israel is not the pawn of the international community. Oh! By the way -- did anyone wonder about the weapons of mass destruction that Iraq was known to have? I guess you've found it. Trucked over the border into Syria. And now in use. Perhaps the best solution of all would be to send those responsible (and I DO include the United States and the European Union) to their greater reward. They're pretty useless anyway. Little babies are dying. Well, little Jewish babies were tossed into crematoria during the Second World War. Do the words "just desserts" mean anything to the hypocritical EU and the United States? Israel has warned about this for a very long time. No one has paid any heed. Eat the lunch you served. Choke on it.

To some Defective Gas Masks To The opposition? russian Capitalism At It's FINEST!!! Dos Vidanya שבת שלום
15. egypt, iraq, iran they all used WMDS so why not syria?
zionist forever   (06.08.12)
This time I doubt that Assad used chemical weapons and it was some other non lethal gas that was used but I think the chances of him eventually using chemical weapons against the Syrians and possibly even Israel at a later date are pretty high. Egypt used Mustard Gas during the Yemini civil war in the 60s In Iraq Saddam used chemical weapons against the Kurds and Iran in the Iran / Iraq war. Iran used chemical weapons against Iraq in retaliation during the Iran / Iraq war So far Syria has never used chemical weapons but Assad does have one of the most advanced programs in the region and Assad has proven he is perfectly willing to kill to survive as he has killed around 10,000 so far and there is no signs that he is ready to stop. Israel needs to bomb Assad's chemical weapon production and storage sites before he can use them against anybody because the rest of the world is not going to get involved until they see thousands of bodies laying in the street.

Fine heartfelt raging & brooding. You touched my cynical heart.

Sarcasm noted, with thanks. Who wouldn't rage and brood, given the circumstances? It would be interesting to know what substance was used. Perhaps one or more of the victims can be spirited over the border into Turkey and a complete autopsy conducted at a NATO base.
