or were most of the respondents too young (under 50) to remember that one-term-wonder, who lost his re-election campaign to a b-list actor with alzheimer's?
3. If i remember correctly...
He was popular among israelis and most israelis favored him....
4. CNN is not known for it's accuracy in Polling
They have problems with sampling .It's just like a butcher putting his finger on a scale.
5. The worst of LIVING presidents?
Make the Pie Higher
I think we all agree, the past is over.
This is still a dangerous world.
It's a world of madmen
And potential mental losses.
Rarely is the question asked
Is our children learning?
Will the highways of the internet
Become more few?
How many hands have I shaked?
They misunderestimate me.
I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity.
I know that the human being and the fish
Families is where our nation finds hope
Where our wings take dream.
Put food on your family!
Knock down the tollbooth!
Make the pie higher!
Make the pie higher!

7. Really? Seriously? First of all CNN is a democratic mouth
piece for the dem. party and the White House. So chances are very great that only dems. were polled in this poll. So logically, they are going to say that G W was the worst. Granted he made mistakes in his 8 yrs., But by faaaaarrrrrr, Carter will always be remembered as the worst Pres. in modern history. However, there is a slight chance that he may be bumped to the #2 position, while Obaama take over the #1 slot as the worst president ever. He surely will not get my vote this time around. He is neither qualified to be the leader of the free world, not is he a uniter of the important things that have divided us. It's 4 yrs. and your oouutt of here!!
8. He was very friendly with Obama and he
was a PHONY !
I remember his cheap words before the Knesset...
He FAILED to act against the Iranian nuke program and he tried to hinder Israels air strike against Syrias nuke program...He IS A SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Israelis were very much in favor of attacking in Iraq and Bush Jr. followed that line. He was a dumb president, but he knew how to dance the waltz.
11. #3 Wiener
You don't remember correctly, although Bush Jr was less bad for Israel than his father.
By the way, aren't you the one saying that Assad is a Zionist because he killed children? And that the anti-Assad rebels are Zionists because they are working to overthrow heroic Assad by killing children?
israel israeli ,
12. It used to be Richard Nixon
But years later many people who hated Nixon started to re asses and many changed their opinions. Among them one Bubba Bill Clinton who visited Nixon as soon as he became president to take advice.
It is too soon to decide for GWB. And this coming from a democrat like myself.

13. In an old, dusty Texas bar, there is still a
drink waiting for a man, who failed to save the world...oh well...
14. He took it to al qaeda when they struck us.That's enough for
me.BHO just bows ,
down.Great job GWB!
15. Worst pres.
Though Bush will win no prizes for his presidency, Carter was by far the worst with Obama not far behind.
Rick S. ,
16. #3 peter
It seems most in the US favored him as he won the election. Duh.
17. Oh Really???
So I guess that is why Obama
and the Welfare party (Democrats)
will be voted back in. If, as seems likely, Europe banks collapse, the US will be close behind...You can't hand out welfare, subsidized apartments, food stamps, free medical and dental care , free cell phones and even free limo service to doctors offices
without things getting out of hand.
Obama and crew have made things far worse than Bush and everyone knows this (even if they don't admit this)
18. Carter wins by 1000 lengths.. the worst of the worst
19. obama and carter are the worst ever..
Ignore partial cnn polls !
20. underrated president defined by 911
doing the right thing is not always popular.
Lemmings Hotline ,
21. 2 -He made Jimmy #2
He's virtually under "house arrest" in the US and ruined the chances for any Bush to be elected to any position.
He told us he'd pay for Iraq with their oil and we haven't seen a barrel of it.
We should sue him for the 3 trillion(?) he squandered.
Atleast Jimmy believes what he says,Bush was a total fraud . His brother Jeb might have been a good President but he will never be given the chance to prove it-thanks to Jr.
22. After reading these comments:Survey says: Carter&Obama tied
as worst.Bush way up ,
the favorable list.
23. Let me get this straight...
CNN wants us to believe that Bush, Jr. who Americans voted for twice to be president is less popular than two one-term presidents?
Not very likely.
Americans like Bush for many of the same reasons they like Obama. Not because of either one's policies but because both have earthy good-natured personalities that resonate with the average American.
Great Neck, NY
24. Cater is way worst.Wait til current President is Ex
And then you will have some one topping the charts there
25. CNN's liberal poll?
Prez Obama has spent the past 3 1/2 years blaming Mr Bush for EVERYTHING his ad has botched..ie the economy. War against Islamic terror is still successful thanks to Mr Bush, and all the fundamentals put in place by him.Now we have no intelligence because there are only drone strikes, and what there is is blabbed all over the New York Times by Obama's staff to help him get reelected. It won't work. Obama will go down in Nov as he and his socialists so richly deserve.
26. bush the worst?
cnn poll..look at their ratings--they r the worst! W friend if israel..is that why israeli press hates him?BHO is clearly the worst although it's a close call between him and carter..it is no coincidence these two failed libs were never friends of israel
27. Is BHO no living president?
Albrecht Klein ,
28. Any objective standard Carter the worst.. He gave us Iran.
All the recent wars fought and being fought can be traced back to Carter.
Carter destabilized Afghanistan, inviting Arab Mujahideen later to become known as al Quaeda and ultimately dragging the US in.
The Iran/ Iraq war, Iraq invasion of Kuwait, Gulf war 1 and Gulf war 2.
All can be traced back to Carer's decision to pull support from the Shah, who had firmly anchored western interests in the region and maintaining regional stability.
