1. anything which strengthens Hebrew...
Bluegrass Picker ,   Afula   (06.12.12)
....control of the Land between the River and the Sea is good. Now, we are more likely to turn Arabic-heritaged residents of this country into de facto assimilated Hebrew families; than any other scenario you can dream up about Aliya from North America or Poland. All of these faux scenarios are dreamed up by rabinical rent-seekers who mysteriously ALWAYS require a salary as part of the arrangement. Filling this land up with nominal Muslims or nominal Christians is not more foolish than filling it up with people who wear black coats and fur hats. I say, change the Law of Return now.
2. The time will come for a refernedum

All these attempts are admirable but evenutally I feel there will have to come a time in history when the Arab citizens of Israel will have to be asked if they wish to remain citizens of Israel or join a democratic Palestinian State hopefully in the future . A virtual transfer of populations that will satisfy both peoples political aspirations.
3. First of all, hire the I.D.F.veterans no matter

what religion. The others can look for work outside the country.
4. A pledge of loyalty to the State must be a requirement
Julie ,   Israel   (06.12.12)
I do not want to be forced to work with an Arab who does not respect this Jewish State, one whom I cannot trust. From the Arabs I have observed at Israeli universities, I have yet to see one that would work for the good of Israel. Heck, they don't even talk to the Jewish students; why on earth would we want to hire them?
5. A very bad idea.

End affirmative action favoring Arabs in Israel.

7. Rather employ more Jews, real Jews.
rebecca ,   Modiin   (06.13.12)
Not ones that hate anything Jewish is Israeli.
8. Employment policy
Betram ,   London, UK   (06.13.12)
Israel could certainly regulate employment opportunities on the basis of numerus clausus i.e. quotas based on ethnic or religious criteria (as was done in Europe in the past when, at times, the quota for Jews was zero). Such policies often had disastrous consequences for those countries. Alternatively, Israel could attempt to ensure that such opportunities were open to all those with the requisite qualifications and experience. In other words Israel could have an ethnically pure workforce, especially in higher education, or it could have one which made use of the best talents in the country. No contest, really.
