"investigating" a rocket attack hours after it happened... officials who don't even know which direction the rockets came from... this doesn't sound like a very good situation. and describing the locations of where the rockets were found is just plain stupid. "somewhere in the negev" is sufficient - why give the terrorists free artillery spotting to improve their aim?
2. All things come to an end
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.17.12)
It is time to take back the Sinai. Egypt won't be able to put up much of a defense -- their military (which isn't all that good to begin with) will be far too busy putting down the unrest at home once the people realize that the Egyptian military has absolutely no intention of relinquishing power. But terrorists threatening Israeli civilian population centers from the Sinai is not acceptable; neither is the constant stream of illegal African migrants that enter Israel from the Sinai.

Dahood ,   Iran   (06.17.12)
IDF must give final warning if Gaza shoots rockets, there will be a massive retaliation !
5. The Gazan Rocketeers Club membership is now International
Toby   (06.17.12)
The only prerequisite to membership being an aversion to illegal Israeli occupation and settlements, with a vested interest in advancing missile technology. The message is clear, soon no part of Israel will be safe, and that's the price tag Israel pays for its violation of International Law, the Geneva Conventions and Colonialism.
6. Our duty is the total elimination
Ahmed   (06.17.12)
Our duty is the total elimination of the Zionist entity from the face of the earth. Israel shall very soon be extinct. - Ahmed Khaleel, Natanz, Iran
7. what is MFO in Sinai for?, what is MFO in area D for?
observer ,   Egypt   (06.17.12)
what is the American run Early Warning Station for?, if it is for only Israel to decide which direction rockets came from. those rockets might be from Jordan, Israel itself, or from Saudia Arabia. Egypt has to take the Negev if Israel can't control borders.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.17.12)
Nothing illegal about the settlements. Israel has quite an arsenal; we can ensure our safety if the terrorist "rocketeers" continue to get stupid. Oh! Did I mention that terrorists cannot claim refuge under international law or the Geneva Conventions. And if Israel has not ratified portions of those conventions, they do not apply to Israel. Your whole premise is flawed. Why don't you rail about the price tag that NATO must pay for the deaths of one million Iraqi civilians and seven million Afghani civilians? Why waste your time raging about the death of vile terrorists? Are you a terrorist yourself?

Unlike the Egyptian army, Israel is pretty good at figuring out trajectory and line of fire source. Moreover, the last time Egypt tried to take the Negev, I seem to recall that Israel kicked your asses to the curb, encircled the entire Third Army, threw most of you into the Suez Canal, crossed the Canal and stood poised to march on Cairo. The time before that, I seem to recall that Israel destroyed the entire Egyptian air force while it was sitting on the ground. Negev? The Egyptian military is as incompetent and unprofessional a military as exists, subject to bouts of severe paranoia, where no one trusts anyone else. The Egyptian army cannot even suppress unarmed rioters in Tahrir Square. You think you can take on Israel? Try it, and learn yet another costly lesson. This time around, we will very definitely keep Sinai, and we may take possession of the Canal, too. No one will stop us; you can rest assured.

agree!, Israel is better at figuring out trajectory and line of fire source than the MFO, the American run Early Warning Station in Sinai and Egypt's army TOGETHER.
